Stopped in for coffee and a desert. You can’t sit in the main room if you don’t have a reservation, so we sat off to the side, good but expensive coffee and desert. Nice music playing.

What an amazing place, billed as ‘the most beautiful cafe in the world’ it is without doubt very ornate, the musical trio made the experience, especially the violinist. The service was quick and attentive, the cakes were so pretty and tasted divine, I had a...hot chocolate which was delicious. Well worth a visitMore

We were ignored for far longer than we should have been prior to being seated. Upon being seated, we were amongst a huge number of staff who exerted more effort flirting with each other than serving customers. That number of staff was both unnecessary and...imposing. That number of staff also didn't really bother cleaning up as all of the bins were overflowing and the floor was dirty. If you're going to charge that much, clean up. It isn't too much to ask. Unfortunately the staff had to be told this, as they clearly weren't doing it of their own volition. This also extends to the toilets that stank of urine. Go somewhere else, I implore you. It was too expensive for idle and indifferent staff.More

An unquestionably spectacular interior, well worth seeing. For that reason it is very much on every tourist's bucket list, with all that that implies. Service was courteous and efficient, if a little brisk. The food and drinks were good and well presented. The musicians don't...appear to play for very long.More

Impressive architecture and cakes looked lovely but tasted ok and super expensive. Order was taken wrongly so we were without one drink. Staff seemed disinterested, except when laughing at something outside over customers heads.

Beautiful and special place. Ordered food and my daughters meal was wrong so had to wait for it but the waiter was lovely and kept us informed of how long it would be. Goulash soup was ok, daughter-in-law said her pasta was lovely.

Beautiful interior. Lovely atmosphere. Excellent service. Only fruit juice & sorbet for vegans. Enjoyed our visit though can’t give 5 stars as such limited options for vegans unlike quite a few other cafes in the city

A total rip off. The cafe is beautiful but there it ends. Mediocre food, astronomical prices, cheap wine sold for 10 euro a 125ml and served in ikea glasses... paper serviettes... a total tourist trap

Restaurant in side atmosphere was excellent & food was freshly prepared tasty. It's highly recommended if you're in Budapest to visit & try. I feel like eating in expensive 5* restaurants

We made a reservation and before we went we read a lot of bad reviews and were very disappointed and honestly were doubting if we should go. But in the end it was very nice and we enjoyed the atmosphere. Service was very fast and...waiters were very polite. We ordered wine and main course and it was quite delicious. Our reservation time was 8 PM on Saturday and it wasn’t busy, actually quite empty. I would advise to check times when they are not so busy and order something more than coffee and desert.More

We only wanted 2 coffees and waited 10 minutes to order. When coffees had not arrived after a further 20 minutes we got up and left. The staff are rude and not 8nterested in providing any sort of service experience and when we explained to...the senior staff member why we were leaving he was not really interested. There are plenty of negative reviews on here, I suggest you take more notice of them than the positive ones.More

Stunning decor in the cafe, not bad price and the food quality was ok. Voilin and piano playing to set the mood was amazing. Food could’ve been better quality :) Overall definitely recommend to go!

Very beautiful place to visit, it looks excactly like a palace. We also enjoyed musicians performing . Coffee was good, a little expensive comparing to other places but we really enjoyed our time there . The only problem is that if you go without a...reservation, you have to wait in the line , which could take over 45 minutes .More

I'm afraid you are not allowed to take your dog with you. I'm sure it's a not pet friendly restaurant.
