We are proud to be the first restaurant in Budapest to use Bertha in our kitchen. Bertha is a charcoal oven that creates a special atmosphere in the restaurant. You feel like participating in a memorable garden party and in the hand of a well trained chef, Bertha produces super tasty, crispy food let it be veggies, meat or fish. Fat Mama Eatery is the only restaurant in the city center that has a real smoker pit available 24/7. Our smoker pit was provided by the uncrowned king of Hungarian BBQ, Máriusz Adorjányi. We prepare traditional BBQ food in it meaning long hours of preparation at low temperature. The perfectly cooked, soft and juicy slices of meat can be enjoyed in a cool and easy-going

Really nice restaurant. Amazing service and enviorment. They had really good vegan options like aubergine with vegan cheese.

Touristy restaurant in the ruin pub area of the old Jewish district. The meal quality is uneven, I had a superb pork dish marinated in Guinness and a disappointing dessert, others had a poor burger or a great goulash soup. The service is very slow...and they added more service charge to the bill than they indicated beforehand.More

This restuarant was right around the corner from our AirBnB, they had good food, good service, and live music. There are indoor and outdoor areas, and it is in a good location near the ruin pubs etc.

Came here on our last night it did not disappoint. Nice music outside, perfect summer setting. Only negative thing I could say is I think it would be better with more lighting or candles. Good quality food at a decent price. Duck was exceptional could...of been more filling with a side of veg. Ribs were tasty big portions. Excellent service waiter was very friendly and excellent recommendationsMore

Great place to eat (traditional food), chill and have a drink. The garden is really nice and so is the atmosphere. Great and very friendly service, with special thanks to Gabriel!

I had a delicious goulas soup there along with my 2 good friends, the waiter was amazing and friendly, always insisted that if we are okay with everything. We had couple of beers which was okay nothing special comparing to other countries beer such as...Czech and German beers. the presentation of the food was also good. they also have an extra spicy option if you are a spicy person you can go for it. they also have coffee options as well.More

We shared a 2 person bbq plate from the smoker with 5 types of meat, grilled veggies and sweet potatoes. Everything was tasty, great patio and attentive and friendly service. We had a good time there, prices are fair too.

Awful customer service, slow and bad. Never had so bad experience in Budapest. Unprofessional and the quality of drinks is worst ever

Probably the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Incredibly rude waitress. Ordered a virgin Bloody Mary and was given a full cup of ice with barely any juice, asked for more juice and she said ‘that’s what a Bloody Mary is’ and stomped away. Food...was disgusting couldn’t finish it.More
