I wanted to try something in Budapest that gives me the feeling I live here. Local people told to come have a pork schnitzel here. Huge portions, low price. Great experience!

This place was recommended by locals. Simple, quick, cheap and very good. The potato salad is just like in Vienna.

This was by far the busiest place in the food market. They offer three main meals with the schnitzel being the most popular choice (and it is huge!). We had to wait a while as the oil was being changed but this was not a...More

Afternoon lunch at this Schnitzel joint. Abit of a queue but all worth the wait. Schnitzel tasted crispy on the outside and tender on inside. It’s a self serve counter on the second floor of a market. Be patient.

I enjoy having lunch in the Hold Utca Piac (market). I like the vibe, mix of people, smells, etc. But.....no place is better than Buja Disznok who serve an absolutely wonderful wiener schnitzel plate. While the queue can sometimes be long - the wait is...More

This is the best schnitzel in Budapest I have ever eaten. Potato salad is delicious and meat of the quality is very high. The service was absolutely friendly, and we did not have to wait to much, however it was full. Highly recommanded place!

Large portion, excellent food. Make sure you're hungry. Very busy place, cash only. Don't miss this place.

Just walked out after the staff served someone standing behind me. Was so obvious I was next in line. Obviously would prefer to serve a local rather than a tourist. V bad service. Don't recommend.

So my 12yo son requested schnitzel for lunch and I did obligatory google search. We took the hop on off bus to stop 26 but it’s only a 5 min walk from St Stephens Cathedral. Found the amazing old building, climbed to second floor and...More
