The most overrated place I've been to during my stay in Budapest. After 23:00 there is nothing to look for there since the view is darkened (the church is darkened). Reasonable cocktails not beyond. high prices. In my humble opinion, it's not worth the time...I spent there. Furthermore, when I paid in cash, the waitress thought that I did not need the excess to which I am entitled. And she thought I was leaving her a tip without checking or asking me about it (shame and disgrace). I don't recommend the place to anyone. There are enough good bars in the city that get value for money and are much cheaper. This place is a tourist trap.More

We based our visit on the cocktails on the website. However we were told they have "recently changed their menu" so they were not available. No offer to try to make them. So instead of having the "Metallica - enter sandman" cocktail i ended up...with a mango mimosa LOL. 10 euros for about 200ml. Would have visited another bar if i'd have known this. This was an anniversary booking on a thursday evening and we were given the most awkward seat i have even encountered. An ankle high table, next to a wall with no room for legs, right next to the heaters for the smokers blocking any kind of view. Had to keep moving my legs in and out every time someone tried walking by. Sky bar is a bit of a stretch. Its not much higher than the surrounding rooftops. It seems most of the photos are taken from above/high angles to give an impression that better views will be available.More

From the start of our experience, we entered through the gorgeous hotel and felt a little bit out of place. But the concierge escorted us through and directed us to the top floor where the bar is located. We had booked a spot on the...rooftop terrace to make the most of the city which was risky for the time of year but it was well worth it for the stunning views! Upon arrival, we were given menus and a music box which explains the current “specialty” cocktails on offer which was a nice novelty. We both sampled several cocktails including a few which were weren’t advertised on the menu and the bar staff were more than happy to accommodate and the drinks were exceptional. Paired with the view, it was the perfect evening. It was a bit chilly on the terrace but it was March and there were some blankets handed out as well as couple of tables with heaters above them to help take the chill off. Great service, view, atmosphere and most of all taste.More

This is a must do! The Sky bar is expensive but that is to be expected in the centre of the city! It offers panoramic views that can’t be beaten. The place is very classy but don’t fear if you’ve got jeans and trainers on...and have been walking all day, lots of tourists in there and as long as you’re not dressed right down you’re fine! Came across this bar when I googled rooftop bars in Budapest! it didn’t disappoint. We booked a table inside, when we got there we kindly asked the waiter if we could take some pictures outside which was no trouble at all. Lovely cocktails, great reviews...and amazing staff.
