One of the best experience so far. Extremely friendly service, but not too much. The fish soup was perfect with the well cleaned fish and fish haw. Worth to check the classical fishing design. Pancake was also very nice. Soft and creamy. Despite the restaurant...More

The fish is good - we ate the trout with vegetables and mixed fish soup - but I feel they are already accustomed to many tourists coming over. It is a very decent place, but do not expect something truly outstanding. It is very well...More

Waited... then waited some more.... Otherwise nice and ok. Foods are fine but not exceptional. House pasta in the fish soup is good.

Traditionally decorated csárda-style restaurant in a pretty old building next to the cog railway stop at Svábhegy. Also shady attractive garden. We just had a beer here but given how nice it all looked would return for a meal.

We wanted an outstanding version of halászlé. This was not it. The fisherman's soup was okay, not great. Service was fair at best (we had to ask for paprika!!!) and if you want a dollop of sour cream for your soup, they charge extra. They...More
