Visited recently on a Friday evening at 7pm as a group of 6. We were guided well by our server on menu choices. Food portions were massive!!! Great food though with a good Hungarian twist. Atmosphere once the entertainment started was brilliant - dancing girl with fire to sword fighters to belly dancer and all with great musical and lighting... More

Please do not visit this place for dinner, because you will waste your entire afternoon. The beef was raw, the service was slow and the prices are high. They will give you a Knight's show, but this was not interesting for us. We were a big group, and 2 of us didn't receive their food because the waiter forgot it!!!

If you are in Budapest and have at least three nights, then you can go to this restaurant which is close to the city center and wants to replicate a middle age environment. Anyhow you can eat any kind of meat which is quite good and enjoy some exhibition from people of the restaurant. At the end it is quite... More

A classical tourist trap. The show is 1 girl with fires, 1 dancer and 2 guys dressed like knights who are shouting... The meat was reheated from last day. We found a hair in our plate and told the waiter. Commendably, he apologized, didn't charge us that specific plate and gave us free dessert. Still, the quality of the food... More

This place feels authentic because of the staff in costume, decoration, entertainers, food. First off the food, you get to choose from quite the selection of food but the main part is roasted meat which is delicious! The platters are huge, but if you're a big eater, that won't be an issue. During your meal, entertainers start their show: belly... More

A different experience - great fun had by all. There was loads of food. Starter was soup and then lots of various meats for main course with strudel for desert. Good value for money. Entertainment whilst you're eating was unique. I would recommend a visit.

Very nice medieval decoration of the rooms, nice attendants dressed in medieval style and very good food reproducing (more or less) the medieval banquets. Nice and amusing show. Ideal place for groups and celebrations

It's such a bizarre place. We were sat in the cellar which is a long walk from the front entrance. I must admit we had a feeling of unease when we first sat down. The menu is fun with a lot of variety but be warned you will not be able to use a fork in the restaurant. The feasting... More

We went there twice: in 2014 and in 2016. The food is something you can't find somewhere else in Budapest. I suggest to try their set menu, usually a plate with some kinds of meat, potato or potato pancake, sauce and vegetables. The meat is delicious, savory and perfectly cooked. I really recommend to try their hot strudel as a... More

Booked in after reading reviews. Fun evening with too much great food. Meat feast for four on a platter after broth in a bread roll starter. Set meal so extensive that forgot our large drinks till too stuffed to partake. Totally delivered far more than just great food. Not to be missed.
