Before I went to Budapest I heard about sir lancelot's and figured it was an experience I didn't want to miss. After reading previous reviews I wanted to make sure to get a table in the main hall. The only available time was 10pm, and I was afraid we would miss the performances. Luckily they were still going for most... More

Had researched about this place in advance but was not sure if it was indeed real. the place is absolute fun.. from the entrance to the winding way down where we were provided our seats was like an adventurous trip. the decor is beautiful. the way the soup was presented was surprising.. similar to that of the main course... very... We liked this restaurant very much: the design, the meal and entertaining program were very nice. We didn't find it expensive at all. We will recommend to take less food, than you think that you will need, as portion is giant. For example, we took a plate for 2, but indeed it was enough for 4 :-) We recommend to... More

I had dinner with my family (including young children) and we appreciated medieval decorations and nourishing food.

We had an amazing team dinner in the Sir Lancelot. The food was amazing. We choose the meal for 6, and we have everything in the plate. Chiken, duck, vegetables, fruits... All was really delicious. Be aware they are not giving forks, so some meat you need to use your hand :) The restaurant is looks like letautally in the... More

we were visiting the place for offering a medieval atmosphere and had little hope in terms of gastronomy. we ordered one of the mix plates for two people. it was giant and very delicious. the events on restaurant werent cheesy but also not on top quality; still it was entertaining. should visit once when you are in to medieval things.

My boyfriend and I went here after a friend recommended the restaurant. The atmoshere is epic! The pork knuckle dish amazing! I am a vegetarian so I ordered the only vegi plate they had - a very sad assortion of over cooked veggies. But if you eat meat go there, its great!

i had the Majestic (Beef tenderloin slab layered with tomatoes, blue cheese and onions) with baked potatoes and it was very good and the size was big. the dish looks very good on a platter with a small cabbage salad, pickled cucumber and some fruit. the prices are not so cheap but not too expensive for the size and quality.... You might think this a tourist trap, far from it. People eating here are mostly Hungarians in groups, having birthday celebrations or getting engaged. The food far better than expected actually quite good. I had King Arthur's feast which began with a shot of Palinka and a salted scone. Main course was spicy beef tenderloin strips and potato. The dish... More
