The service is good, the wine advised by the waiter was great. The only disappointment was that cozze in the pasta were spoiled - I tried one and the taste was totally not normal. Otherwise, the dish itself was hood once I removed the cozze. The ambiance is nice, the prices are a bit high but from the winfow you can see the Citadella and beautifully lit bridge 🌉

The food was great. We ordered the branzino baked in salt and grilled as well. They bring the fresh fish to he table before it is prepared. Both ways were excellent. The only problem we had was getting our waiter. He must have been on a smoke break (alot).

Visited here around 930pm as we had just arrived in Budapest from Manchester. We found this restaurant on trip advisor. I expected good things because the resutaurant was very busy. The welcome wasn't 100% because I presume they wanted to close at 10pm but overall service was good. The food more than made up for service. The menu has alot of choice and we had a standard pasta dish. It was reasonably priced, good size and extremely tasty. For pudding I had tiramisu and it didn't disappoint. I would recommend this restaurant.

A nice atmospheric Italian restaurant close to Danube river.
We got pasta, risotto, caprese salad and a plate of appetizers, mostly salami and cheese with few olives and rocca leaves!
My risotto was good, a tiny bit overcooked though, but the dried, crispy prosciutto slices on top of it were delicious and compliment the plate.
My friend's pasta with mussels was tasty and in very small portion.
Caprese salad was OK, (cannot help but compare any caprese I taste to the one I'm eating at Antonio's, Eindhoven, which is incomparable so far) ☺
Service was good, though we had to wait a long time to pay the bill.
The prices were high for Budapest and as a matter of fact equal or higher than better restaurants to other European cities that are considered much more expensive.
All in all a good experience with a few setbacks!

We stumbled across this restaurant by accident on a walk around the city and couldn't believe that we found such a good restaurant that was so quiet. We loved this place so much that we went twice in our short trip to Budapest. A vast and impressive menu there is certainly a lot of interesting dishes to try which is why we went more than once. The staff were friendly and the service was quick. This place is super cheap. For two courses for myself and my cousin only came to the equivalent of about £35. Would definitely go back if I ever return to Budapest.

It was really average, the prices are a little more than normal in Budapest.
We ate there Saturday 4th February at 21.00, it was half empty. We first wanted a table around 19-20 but they said it was fully booked. But okay it wasn't our first choice we just googled it. All other restaurants were fully booked where we wanted to go.
First guy that served us was arrogant and rude, i would guess he was young italian arount 35-40.
Then one older also guessing italian was really helpful and really nice so he took up the negative service from the first guy.
The food was really nothing special, the tomatoes in the carpaccio was saggy and old, we couldnt eat them but the carpaccio otherwise was really good. Pasta carbonara was really salty extreme salty but okay. No dessert because of the food was nothing special.

Very disappointed that after a nice meal when it came to pay the waiter mentioned that the bill didn’t not include a service charge and then asked if we would we like to tip 10%. We said yes but then after leaving we noticed that they do indeed charge you a large service fee. Feel like because we were tourists we got taken advantage of. Ruined our experience.

We enjoyed our veal ravioli, risotto, grilled lamb and duck breast. Drinks are expensive eg HUF 4,100 for glasses of Takler Szenta-Hegyi Cabernet Franc and HUF 11,500 for a bottle of Falanghina Guardiense white. The bill for five, including a couple of puddings was HUF 99,520, which included a hefty HUF 11,449 service charge. The restaurant is attractive, with stonework and rustic tables, but it is noisy. Probably the best time to go would be warm weather when it’s quieter on the outdoor terrace.

Visited this restaurant on our last day in Budapest. Was promptly seated but told we couldn’t sit outside due to reservations. This was acceptable.
Believe the menu was okay but no dishes really jumped out to me. Tried the tagliatelle nere con Calamari on the specials board.
Tagliatelle was okay but there wasn’t a lot of flavour. Partner ordered the spaghetti duck a la Ragu. She was served penne pasta which she isn’t fond of. We accepted it but the pasta was tough. The waiter claimed ‘Al Dente’ but we have been to enough Italian restaurants around the world to know it was under cooked. They happily re-made the dish but we was then sat eating alone.
Nicely decorated restaurant on the river so location wise really good.

Arrived at our Hotel around 19.30 for a 4 night stay in Budapest with my wife.
The restaurant was a suggestion by the Hotel and as it was only a 5 minute walk they booked a table for us at 20.15
The restaurant was around 50% full and we were shown to our table in a both on arrival.
We were provided with menus and had focaccia to share as a starter and we both had spaghetti carbonara for our main course. I had a draft beer and we shared a bottle of Hungarian dry white wine and a bottle of still water.
The service throughout was excellent and our bill was 27810 florins = £60 which included an £8 tip which I thought was good value
An excellent choice on the banks of the Danube river

The restaurant serves great Italian food, and the lamb rack tasted marvellous. Even the carbonara spaghetti tasted very thick with cream. Located next to the river side, we can enjoy the view of passing people along the Danube River. Two glasses of Prosecco started the meal in a refreshing way, followed by the soup consisting of Italian meat with vegetable, and finishing off with our main course of lamb rack and spaghetti. Didn’t have room for coffee and dessert!

Not solo traveler friendly, I popped in to get a quick dinner before a night cruise and the hostess acted like it was an imposition to serve ‘just one’. I’m very familiar with solo dining and haven’t had felt a cold shoulder anywhere else. It looked nice on the inside and smelled great, I would’ve loved to try it!

The restaurant knew how to do Italian meals including pizza and pasta. The setting was relaxing and welcoming. The waiter Sandro T. was warm and friendly and knowledgeable about the restaurant’s dishes in and out. This is definitely the to go restaurant in Budapest!

This restaurant standards are compare to restaurants in Italy!!!
The pizza is not less than excellent!
Home made Ravioli was fantastic.
The service was professional and fast.
As person that often goes to Italy for business and have experience with authentic Italian restaurants (not in touristic areas) I can say that this restaurants was a big surprise!
Real Italian restaurant in Budapest.

This restaurant is across the street from the Danube, just a couple blocks from the big square. I arrived after 9 pm and was greeted in a friendly manner. The dining area is quite classic, with a lot of brick walls. My waiter was experienced & helped me navigate the large menu.
I started with the shrimp tartare appetizer. It was unusual-it was presented in a round shape. The shrimp was chopped into very small bits, rolled with capers, olive oil, and seasoning. Very tasty.
Fro my main. I had the tagliatelle with salmon & pistachios. While there are many meat & fish choices, I felt like eating pasta. I hadn’t realized it was in a cream sauce; I should have asked. So it was a “richer” dish than I wanted. But very tasty. And the pasta was black in color.
I was given an after-dinner liqueur, on the house, to go with my gelato. A nice finish.
