Cosy, upmarket restaurant with a French inspired menu. Staff were very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable - in fact the waiter even deboned my wifes beautiful dover sole when she mentioned she was not so good at it! Large excellent wine list. Fine dining at its...least pretentious. One comment for the chef - the lobster bisque was excellent, but WHY do you insist on putting the little pile of salad/greens in the middle of the plate prior to serving?? Didny need it!!More

Considering that Hungarians provide terrible service in general, this restaurant is reasonable in terms of customer service but it is a far far far cry from service in the US and the worst I've experienced through extensive travel in Europe.More

I popped in for lunch, and while the restaurant was quiet, it was extremely cozy. Chicken paprikash with dumplings and Hungarian white wine. It was gorgeous. Elizabeth was so friendly and gave me lots of tourist tips. Go!

We had a magical experience in this restaurant. The garden is really beautiful. We ate the best meals ever, the chicken paprikash was amazing, not talking about the chocholate mousse with the caramel ice cream. Big thanks to Dori for the excellent service. We will...make sure to come backMore

Ohhhh my goodness !! What a wonderful experience. The manager, sorry I didn’t get his name, was just outstanding from advising us on food combinations to matching our wines, to his humour, to his professionalism…..he clearly LOVED his job and definitely should be on %...of takings. The food and wine was outstanding too but it was the service that made this restaurant an unforgettable experience. Bravo Mr Manger !!More

Very nice restaurant with great service. I wish I could rate it as perfect but… I ordered the Budapest Steak, Medium. Unfortunately it came rare. The waiter apologized and had the chef do another one. To my (and his) surprise it came exactly the same,...rare. I then switched to a Wiener Schnitzel which was very good. I did not pay for it. So all in all, a very nice restaurant but based on my experience stay away from the steaks, unless you like it rare. I never understand how a professional chef is not capable to cook a steak exactly how it is ordered. I can even do that at home. If he doesn’t know how to judge the temperature of a steak why not using a thermometer?More
