Just returned from this cozy little restaurant behind St. Stephen's. We had high expectations based on the reviews we read but they were not realized. The food and service were mediocre at best. My goulash soup was tasty but rather thin with very few pieces...More

Our server Kristina was wonderful, providing amazing service and going above and beyond for not only us, but others seated around us. She was extremely accommodating with my allergy, offering information about dishes I could eat. The Kolozsvari Töltött Káposzta dish was fantastic and exactly...More

Feeling hungry around St Stephen Basilica found this good restaurant with delicious goulash, burger and beer. The food came hot and appetizing. The wait for the food was long. I recommend this restaurant.

Not quite sure why we didn't like this restaurant as much as others of the same type, perhaps it's location , pavement side on a busy road opposite St Stephens is to blame. The food was OK although my wif's steak was served raw and...More

The waiter recommended me to order deer stew which I did. The taste was nice and overall the visit was worth the money.

A friend originally from Budapest recommended this one, so we went. Excellent for price, atmosphere, service and quality. So much so that we went the next night too. First time we picked the Hungarian style "Tourist Menu" for a sample of local cuisine. Loved it....More

Went to this restaurant on the promise of excellent local food and a charming atmosphere per our guide book. This place delivered on all points, and then some. We had goulash soup and a fried cheese salad for appetizers, and deer stew and chicken paprikas...More

Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube,
with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The
Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica
stand out as two of the finest examples of
architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for
more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval
city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while
the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention

I went there twice on quite busy days and no booking was needed. If you are just a couple I think you're fine. If a group of more people, make a booking :)
