Where do I start, I dinned at this restaurant 2 days in a row while on a business trip with my colleague in Budapest. The staff gave a 5* service, in all the restaurants in world that I have been, I have never had such...an amazing service. The food was incredible, I had the deer the 1st night and the Hungarian médaillions the next day. I 100% recommend this restaurant if you are in Budapest.More

Enjoyed a plate of the local hungarian dumplings and my partner got the duck, which he loved. They allowed our dog to eat with us inside, and were very friendly.

We had a cold forepeak plate, with different hungarian specialities, which were very tasty. Afterwards the stag, which was very tasty with the potatoballs and also the stuffed duck with beef liver was good.

We were just walking around and found this place. The food was good, I had a salmon risotto that was really good. The service was incredible, our waitress super nice and speak english very well. We were seated outside and the ambience was wonderful. We'll...be back again for sure.More

We had a very enjoyable bottle of Sauvignon Blanc in this busy Budapest restaurant and bar. Not hurried, but good service from polite staff. A good wine list and, I suspect food menu. All in all, a very good way to spend a refreshing hour...in the middle of Budapest.More

It was so good we went there twice! Great little restaurant near St. Stephen's Bascilica - the young lady that waited on us both times was so gracious to us - even when she knew we were ordering way too much food. The Stuffed Cabbage...was a standout as was the duck. Their wine selection was very solid. Overall a great place to have a very nice meal.More

And it was sadly not what we expected. We stopped by for lunch and with the decor and music (YMCA was playing when we got there) you felt like entering a time capsule. I decided for a piece of wild boar, with gnocchi dumpling in...a burgundy sauce. My wife had tagliatelle with deer and stepdaughter tried the burger. The courses were presented very nicely, it was very contradictory to the surroundings, but looked very nice indeed. My boar was sadly very dry, it was a bit disappointing. The dumpling were a bit bland but with a decent texture. The sauce was very tasty and probably the best part of the meal. I tried a piece of deer from my wife and it was what I wanted my boar to be, juicy and tender. Her dish was good. The burger was also ok (stepdaughter finished half, I finished the rest) though for my taste, extremely well done and not very juicy. The meal came to 14.000 Huf, which for the amount of food is ok. Don’t think we will be back though.More

We had a wonderful dinner here. We had chicken wrapped in bacon, saltimbocca, an a yummy eggplant dish. We also had a delicious cheesecake dessert with a sweet dessert wine...heaven!

Nice place with great food. Everytime when we are in Budapest, dinner in this restaurant is mandatory.

There were four of us, looking forward to a great evening on our last night in Budapest, and thank goodness we booked this place! We were here in 2005 with our children, and decided to give it another go - as we had enjoyed our...first visit. It did not disappoint - we were treated like royalty - and given advice on what to choose on the menu/drinks etc. We all had three courses, with prosecco/wine/tokaji.......all superb!!! The staff were really fantastic, and let's hope it doesn't take another 15 years before we are here again!More
