What a lovely place! Very relaxed vibe, brilliant service, nice refreshing menu (change from a lot of the more heavy food on offer around town!) and a great wine list. Staff were friendly and easy going and informed and spoke perfect English which helped! Highly...recommend......More

We walked in on a Friday evening for dinner and were lucky to get a table. This place is busy, so it's probably wise to make a reservation. Beautiful outdoor setting with a relaxed friendly atmosphere. Our server was very helpful and professional. The food...was outstanding. We shared a hummus appetizer followed by eggplant with pistachio, kohlrabi and miso, and grilled cod with roasted cauliflower and romescu sauce. Highly recommended.More

Came here a few times, always the experience was good. The food is honest, clean, not a typical stodgy, heavy Hungarian meal. In fact the food selection is varied and cross cultural, a bit like this area in the city, the menu isn't huge but...the food is done really well. Atmosphere is casual but classy, service the same and in a way so is the food. The waiters were helpful when we came in once with 8 people on a whim and were able to seat us, no problem. Prices are fair for the quality, especially considering the times we are in and compared to other big cities.More

The place offers a very limited menu. The food was ok but can't say I was amazed. The wine I tried was very good though.Overall, prices were not matching the quality nor the quantity they were supposed to.

The dinner was very delicious. However, on the tripadvisor app, it stated that it was an Hungarian restaurant, but we had the feeling that is was more Middle Eastern themed regarding food.

Nice restaurant for a casual evening with friends or family. Very friendly service and delicious food. Absolutely perfect for vegetarian and meat lovers at the same time. There are good traditions dishes and fusion dishes to taste. We had a goose leg with red cabbage...and semi mashed potatoes. And a veggie tempura with cauliflower sauce creamy sauce. As starter a delicious pan fried cheese with red beet sauce. Very tasty combination. It seems to be a trendy place, we recommend to make a reservation on time.More

Why is it that so many Budapest restaurants think customers want to be hit with loud music, so making it hard to have a conversation? This place was particularly bad. Many establishments are at least prepared to turn the noise down, but here they refused,...saying management liked the ‘buzz’. Well - prepare for bad Tripadvisor ratings, then. If it hadn’t been for this issue, I would have rated this restaurant 4/5. Good Hungarian/Jewish standards like Hortobágyi palacsinta, goose with mashed potato, duck with Jewish beans and borjupáprikás. Plus a good choice of not-too outrageously overpriced wine, including the very good Pannonhalmi Hemina red. The room itself is attractive with good separation between tables, in a Jewish District historic building. It will be good when someone one day does something about the run-down, graffiti-covered neighbouring buildings.More

A lovely traditional Hungarian restaurant .We turned up here at last minute, on route to our hotel . It was quite early, late afternoon … neither ere nor there .. friendly owner welcomed and seated us. We had three coarses each, both different . Goulash...for my starter… excellent… I had the Goose leg , red cabbage and mash as main and it was perfect. We both enjoyed our meal. Wifey had a few wines n I had some very good mulled wine… we really enjoyed it here… highly recommend… MattMore

Turned up with my daughter to eat here she had picked the restaurant and what a treat really lovely main meal goose red cabbage and potatoe and to be honest could not do it justice as it was really nice plenty of meat and we...just couldn’t eat it all up wish we could have. Very pleasant ambiance a really nice find in the back streets or the Jewish quarter and would highly recommend and fairly priced which topped the evening off. Would definitely try it if you get a chance they also do lunch etc so give it a go. Very enjoyable. We were just visiting Budapest on holiday.More
