For those who want to flee a bit of Hungarian food, this cozy Italian restaurant is a very good choice, with an excellent Tiramisu as dessert, Pest side, good prices and also very good wine menu, worth to check! besides the restaurant, they have the...beautiful bar, architecture and excellent customer service.More

We were advised it served good local as well as Italian food but having gone in we went Italian and weren't disappointed. If you hanker Italian in Budapst this will not disappoint based on our experience

Nice ambience, food wasn't great. Had the salmon ravioli and the spaghetti and both were huge disappointments. Soups (beef goulash and fish soup) were ok, though they appeared not to be cooked in traditional styles.

Good food and service. However, very expensive £7.50 for a gin and tonic. Offered a drink after the meal, in all other restaurants the liqueur had been on the house. We accepted the offer of a drink, however, the cost of over 3000 ft was...added to the bill. Requested a half portion of mussels as a starter and charged for a full main course. The restaurant is beautiful, the staff exceptional, however, on checking the bill at home we were shocked. Eat here but check your bill before you pay. Service is included. Very expensive for Budapest.More

Just two blocks from Budapest's St. Stephen's Basilica, we stopped here for a light dinner. I had an excellent salmon-stuffed ravioli main while my wife ordered a starter of grilled baby octopus with orange segments and a green salad. Both proved to be plenty for...a light dinner. A decent list of Hungarian wines is available, many of them by the glass, as well. Bottom line, high quality food, reasonable prices. Outdoor seating available in good weather. Note that your bill will include service.More

We had actually set out to try a different restaurant on the same street, but that one turned out to be far too noisy and frantic. We wandered up the street and found this one instead. When we saw the opulent interior we thought that...we might be in trouble price-wise, but were pleasantly surprised to find that the restaurant was a lot more reasonably-priced than many in the same neighbourhood. Our waiter was really Italian and he was very charming, without being pushy or intrusive. The food was really excellent, although main course portions were a little on the small side and there weren't any obvious side dishes you could order. Atmosphere was beautiful - subtle music and grand décor managed to create a very cosy feeling, even though the room had very high ceilings and was well-lit. We definitely recommend for a laid-back meal with someone you want to talk to without having to shout to be heard.More

Nice restaurant tucked away near another covered dining area. Compared prices and selected Gianni's. Great Choice!! Attractive and comfortable decor, nice selections available, and superb food at better prices than the outdoor covered area. Chose several pasta selections and all were elegantly presented and delicious....Early evening was nice with few patrons and a very peaceful and relaxed dinner. Prices are reasonable and a very nice end to a day of touring. Highly recommended.More

Nice little restaurant. We stopped in for something to drink and a light meal, which is difficult to find in Budapest. Staff was very nice and helpful, although the waitress seems a little hyper, but she was friendly enough and the food and drink were...welcome after a long day walking.More

Popped in with friends for some flavourful food and that's exactlt what we got! Thank you for the beautifully tender duck followed by the tiramisu filled profiteroles. From the service through the cocktails everything made or night :)

We had bacon wrapped tenderloin with peppercorn sauce. Very tender meat cooked to perfection, and a superb peppercorn sauce as well. Nice and friendly staff, and there was a good atmosphere in the restaurant. We ended the night with very tasty long-drinks - I probably...got on of the best Bloody Mary's I've ever had served! Can highly recommend this place, if you want good food and good cocktails.More
