The place is beautifully done, the ambiance is posh. The staff was very professional and welcoming. Both the "somloi" and the chestnut puree were to die for. Loved it and will definitely go back for more! :)

Located at the St. Stephen's Park, at an elite neighborhood of Pest occupying the ground floor of a Bauhaus-era /modernist building. Much of the authentic decoration is kept, but still feels fresh and modern. Service is excellent; e.g. the head waiter came out and adjusted...the sun shade above our table as the sun moved along. Food selection is typical bistro variety and they carry traditional dishes, some of them with a little twist. Everything we tried was excellent, except probably the potato chips served alongside with the fried chicken. (This was too dry and thin, exactly like you buy as a snack; not a good match with a meat dish.) They carry a vast selection of cakes too. Their breakfast menu is also interesting, I will definitely try out next.More
Stylish place, excellent food, outstanding service. We spent a lovely evening there. Highly recommended to everyone👌🏻☺️
Thank you very much! Hope to see You again!
I had only an espresso and a wonderful chestnut sweet. Very friendly waiters and for those who speak Hungarian there are Newspapers. I enjoyed two pleasant hours in this Cafe.
Thank you very much for visiting our restaurant! Hope to see you again! :)
Beautiful Art Deco building and interior, nice staff, and best cakes and pastry in town. They also have kitchen, but I only came here for their sweet shop / cafe part yet.More

I've been coming to Budapest for years and I love (or loved) this place. Such a nice setting an art deco decor. The problem is that the food has gotten worse and worse. Either go classic (Austro-Hungarian bistro food) or hire a more modern chef...but you currently do neither well. It's a very boring menu and the food is just plain average.More

The location is incredible, part of a Bauhaus building. The service was spotty. Maybe the oddest comment is that the sweets were too sweet.
Thank you very much for coming! Hope we can see you next time!
The place could be good, but it's not. Service is not kind and not quick, waiters just looking around and do nothing even they are more than guests are. Desserts are pretty old fashioned and not really tasty, usual Julius Meinl coffee served as a...premium. Coffee was not bad but premium only from cost point of view they charged. Definitely we will not visit again, there are lot of much better Cafes in Budapest for more reasonable price or for similar price with much better quality. Very much disappointing.More
