Delicious food! Especially duck, both of - leg and breast. Cheese sauce with potato just perfect! Recommend!

One of my favorite places. Situated right at the "Broadway of Budapest" (Nagymező str.) so it is (was and hopefully will be) an obvious choice for an after-theater dinner. Now it is summer, and a huge terrace is available in front of and at the...side of the restaurant for open-air lunches and dinners. Food is excellent, this time I had my regular dish: fried chicken leg fillet with cocktail-tomato salad and potato and it was juicy and fresh as always. I chose the strawberry soup with ewe-cheese and basil that was on the chef's offering list and it was really one of a kind. This was not sweet at all, in fact it was a very interesting thick bouillon with a massive characteristic strawberry aroma, a rare delicacy. Too bad, none of the waiters did wear a mask, despite being mandatory.More

My friend just reviewed this place because the manager was incredibly confrontational and rude to us... we just left 10 minutes ago.. I am soooo sick. I made a joke to our server, because the manager was so clearly annoyed with us, I said “will...you do me a favour... keep him away from our food haha”... And here I am.... night over. Beware... :(More

I’m visiting a dear friend here in Budapest and she wanted to take me somewhere special, so we dressed up and called about a rezo. And then called to see if there was any cancellations so that we could come in earlier. There was !!...So we came in and they showed us to a less than desirable table. I asked the man I soon found out was the manager if it was possible to move to the 2 top further from the foot traffic and he said “NO! You have called here 2 or three times tonight...” and went on to aggressively let me know that we were less than welcome. I let him know that he was coming across aggressively and he stomped away. I honestly told him this in an attempt to give him a chance to calm down and apologize for being so rude.... nope Haha anyway, the food was really good. But him stomping around like a petulant child was a bummer.More

Doesn’t look much from the outside, but definitely worth a visit. Food looked great and tasted delicious and staff friendly and attentive. I will be returning for certain!

I came here with four friends for breakfast on a Sunday morning. We had booked our table in advance which I’d recommend. We all enjoyed our food very much and the portions were generous. Despite there not being a vegan option on the menu, the...chefs and waiters were very accommodating and were able to put together a delicious plate of french baguette, guacamole, mushrooms, spinach, baked beans.More

First night in Budapest and this was a perfect recommendation. Warm and welcoming, menu was simple and tasty. If you’re having wine by the glass would recommend asking for the house wine served by small carafe, it’s very good and a better measure. Very reasonably...priced restaurant. Would definitely go backMore

Came here for breakfast on the first day of our visit and liked it so much returned for breakfast the following days. Also had dinner here which was just as good. Great service and delicious food. However I would make sure you book a table...as, testament to how good the food is, it is always busy.More
