To end our trip to Europe we fancied an Italian pizza. We had a recommendation from google and it certainly lived up to its reputation. The building interior was stunning. The food was also excellent. The bottle of chianti Classico paired well with our pizzas and the waiting staff very friendly and let us relax for the afternoon whilst waiting for our flight later that afternoon. Worth a visit even just to admire the interior!!

Arrived on a busy night with no reservation.. but they still managed to squeeze us in, which was good. The drinks were nice, we got two Aperol Spritz' and they came in big glasses for a good price. My dad ordered a glass of wine and he was presented with a the smallest splash of wine ever! But I suppose that's what you get in a lot of places.
The pizzas were all lovely... the best I've had in ages! My sister ordered the carbonara, which was nice too, however, the bacon was mostly fat, not actually bacon, which was the only bad thing.
We all had a lovely dinner overall. There was a great atmosphere, and lovely food and drinks for a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend.

An atmospheric restaurant with vaulted ceilings and plenty of ambient lighting. The pizza was delicious, the ravioli fresh and exactly as promised. We sat right by the open kitchen and everything we saw served looked great. The chefs all in perfect unison with each other. Service was swift and welcoming. This was the best place we ate in in Budapest. Dinner for £35 including wine. Happy.

The food is great, would recommend but the service is shocking. Placed right by the door (would of not been a problem) but people queuing were basically stood on top of us. We had finished our food and it took 45 minutes for plates to be taken, then asked multiple times for the bill - had to even get up and ask the guy on the door for it.

I’ve eaten out and about a bit, well I am now a senior citizen...just! However we ate here two nights and the food is the best I have ever had. I can’t comment on the pizzas or the pasta. We went for top end, Argentinian Fillet, mixed grill and the Duck with walnut and pear. Served with chargrilled veg which were also amazing and the steak simply dissolved in your mouth. Staff were great, service was quick. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. If we return to Budapest we will certainly come here again. One night left and I suspect we may be here again tomorrow night

I booked this restaurant for our first night in Budapest and was not disappointed. The restaurant was very busy but the service was still prompt and the food excellent. The restaurant is rustic and felt very authentic especially with the large open flame pizza oven giving a warm and pleasant ambience. The food did not disappoint and the restaurant was a great start to our stay in Budapest so book early and enjoy.

We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel which is approximately 10 minutes walk away. We did not book, but arrived for an earlier dinner at 18:00 and were seated immediately.
The food was very nice (especially the tiramisu- insert dribble) and the restaurant itself was lovely. We paid approx £35 GBP for 2 courses and 2 soft drinks which is a bargain.
Would have given 5 stars but the waiters were not very chatty and it felt quite transactional; not sure if this was a language barrier issue but would still recommend as the food was great.

We managed to bag the last table on an impromptu visit after spending time in a few ruin bars nearby. The photos available online gave me the impression the restaurant was in a cellar - it isn't, but is furnished with lots of stone and wood with large vaulted ceilings. Packed with people enjoying wine and pizza it had a great atmosphere.
We got a bottle of Gavi, antipasti/meat selection and a couple of pizzas. The meat selection was huge, advertised for 2 on the menu but would comfortably feed 4 as a starter. The selection on the plate was great and we found this to be the highlight of our visit.
The pizzas were OK - the bases were great and well cooked but the toppings were slightly disappointing - we had a four cheese was had far too much cheese (it was smothered) and a meaty one that was the opposite, with not enough topping.

We had a totally amazing meal here. Definitely worth booking as it was packed out and people were queuing to get in on a Wednesday night. They serve an excellent aperol spritz and had a good selection of local and Italian wine. We both chose pizza and unfortunately because of the language barrier when they came out, mine wasn’t what I had ordered, but it was quickly taken away and a fresh one cooked for me. Both were excellent, as good as, if not better than pizzas from a trattoria in Italy! We shared a tiramisu for dessert, again amazing. Staff were friendly and professional and were clearly working hard. Thanks for a great night.

Recommended this place by our hotel and it was a great tip. Came late on so only had time for a main course, went for the mixed grill which was the best I’ve ever had and not too big either. The meat was perfectly cooked and really tasty, especially the duck. My partner had pasta rags which was also well cooked.

Visited this restaurant during our first night in Budapest, we hadn’t booked a table but we were seated straight away. The staff were all lovely and helpful. The food was good, especially the pasta dish, not sure what it was called but it was tagliatelle in a parmesan cheese sauce with sliced tenderloin beef - would highly recommend!

This place cooks the pizza in the proper italian way. Crust on the edge is crispy and burnt, while in the middle it’s a bit soggy but the overall pizza and taste is great. Cheap food, good service and quick. Can’t complain

Loved this place! Understated yet elegant setting, place smells amazing like baking bread when you walk in. Service is impeccable and prices are reasonable. Great Italian food. We had carpaccio and bruschetta for the app, both excellent - especially burata quality and flavorful parmesan that came with the carpaccio, plus tomatoes which are generally amazing here. Porcini sauce pasta and duck for main, delicious. Profito rolls for dessert that melted in our mouths. The olive oil on the tables is superb, just like in Italy.

After arriving in Budapest on Friday evening we just wanted to get some food fairly close to the hotel.
The menu looked great and we were lucky enough to get a table without booking. It was very busy but they managed to squeeze us in.
We went for the fillet steak and black ravioli which were both really good. We also opted for desserts of semifreddo with almonds and profiteroles.
Service was good and atmosphere very nice.

Had a mid week break in Budapest and our hotel recommended "il terzo cerchio"
restaurant. Very welcoming and nice ambiance in the restaurant (and glad it was recommended otherwise we would never have stumbled on it). Food is excellent quality with a wide range of dishes to suit all tastes. The people at the next table were Italian so that's always a good sign. Enjoyable meal with attentive and friendly staff and not too expensive.
Highly recommend
