Great bar and atmosphere. Sat upstairs with a birds eye view of Budapest bar life below. Great service and dinner delicious. Duck breast with beetroot risotto was great. Highly recommend for a casual pub meal. Wife had pork with polenta and mushroom - pictured and...More

I found this place on the suggestion of one of the locals. It's a complete chill out bar and you would never expect the food to be of such finesse. Boci is an amazing host and makes you feel at home. Recommended dishes are -...More

We searched the place down, it was a bit difficult to find due to some construction near it at the moment. The place was quite crowded but the staff were very nice and we waited few minutes for a free table. And it was worth...More

Friendly staff, food is delicious, and prices are great. Wine was good too. Would definitely recommend to stop by. They take credit cards, so convenient, and are okay with splitting tabs.

There are a lot of other choices in the area that are WAY overpriced. Kiado has a great atmosphere, welcoming staff and awesome food. While the menu may be small, everything is a hit. Small selection of craft beer. Prices are reasonable and there are...More

We used the Hungarian Forint, don't know if they take Euros. There are ATMs on the main road nearby.

Description
„Kiadó (it means "for rent" and also "publisher") is one of my favourite places. It is close to Oktogon, in a nice square. On the wall you can see Irén Psota, a famous Hungarian actress. There is always some nice music and cool people around. The place is good for both having a drink or eat something. The menu is perfect: just one page so you can choose quickly. Staff is super friendly and the place has a very good vibe.” „Very nice and friendly bar/pub. Cosy feel and upstairs is cool despite being a bit cramped. Really cheap drinks „ „Nice music, good position. I love the Arabian style room. Good food. Quesadilla sandwich is a must try as the duck meals.”
