Having read the reviews I had expected to find a little gem of a place in the end what we found was a little pub. It's got a nice atmosphere and the drinks are reasonably priced, unfortunately the staff are bordering on being so moody...More

Our last night in Budapest. We made a reservation. Got a seat that didn't fit me, at the smallest little nook of the restaurant. We asked for a different place to seat which was possible. Next up, starters. They offer 3 but 2 of them...More

We came here twice, once for dinner, once for breakfast. Dinner was perfect, we had tenderloin salad and duck breast with cous-cous, and we tried both desserts. Everything was really great. Two days later we came for breakfast (eggs and sausages), and we were surprised...More

Food and drinks are great. Possibly the best goulash I ever ate. The wine is so good (I'd suggest a glass of merlot, if you order beef). Completely shocked at the moment of payment. Extremely cheap. We paid 21£ for 4 glasses of red wine,...More

We went in for a couple of beer and we spent there the all evening. Staff was nice and fast and definitely with some sense of humour.

If you want to have some tap beer or some craft ones - that's a place for you. I advise you to take french fries made of sweet potatoes as a snack, because they're truly delicious.

When I say little, I mean it... Its not the biggest restaurant but the plates made up for the size. The portions were massive for a good price and the beers were delish. The staff were lovely and my service was quick. I would recommend...More

We used the Hungarian Forint, don't know if they take Euros. There are ATMs on the main road nearby.

„Kiadó (it means "for rent" and also "publisher") is one of my favourite places. It is close to Oktogon, in a nice square. On the wall you can see Irén Psota, a famous Hungarian actress. There is always some nice music and cool people around. The place is good for both having a drink or eat something. The menu is perfect: just one page so you can choose quickly. Staff is super friendly and the place has a very good vibe.” „Very nice and friendly bar/pub. Cosy feel and upstairs is cool despite being a bit cramped. Really cheap drinks „ „Nice music, good position. I love the Arabian style room. Good food. Quesadilla sandwich is a must try as the duck meals.”
