I went to Cafe Csiga for my last meal in Budapest. It was delicious, fast, and filling. I’m gluten intolerant, so finding this gem was exactly the best way for me to end my time in Budapest.

Cafe is situated in not very touristic area, but is definitely worth to go there. Delicious food and much cheaper, than in the centre.

The staff is delightful! The food is delicious and authentic! The dill soup with salmon eggs was great but I wish the blini was served in the side since it got soggy in the soup. The beef cheeks were fantastic! Tender and flavorful with just...More

We just had dinner at this cafe and the food was excellent. My wife had the duck and I had the chicken and both meals were fantastic. I would highly recommend this intimate , casual local cafe.

We found this place on Trip Advisor. The first thing that struck us was that the menu didn’t coincide with the pictures on Trip Advisor. In the Breakfast menu there was nothing that was to our taste. Secondly, the waitress was really unpleasant and not...More

Excellent food - particularly the duck. Small menu but something for everyone. The beef cheeks were also very good. One of our party tried the vegetarian dish and declared it the best ever. Very good value for both food and wine.

We went to the cafe for breakfast after a few people recommended it and after reading reviews on TripAdvisor. Walking in, the cafe looked amazing. It had a rustic feel and didn't feel at all like a city centre cafe. Unfortunately, the rest of the...More

Stopped by for a late evening meal and it was very good. The dish was properly cooked and everything was as expected. As a bonus the prices were pretty good too!

This café is located in a rather shady (but vastly developing) part of town. It is rather small and in the peak hours of the evening it's rather difficult to find a place. However, if you come here in the right time (during the day,...More

I went there with a friend on a hot August morning. The place has a nice atmosphere, and reasonable prices, but the waitress was surprisingly unkind (almost rude) and there is no air-conditioning.

The cafe is stuffed with plants and good music to make the atmosphere even more familiar. We try to do our best from breakfast till late dinner, but we make daily menu as well on weekdays. Single origin coffee, craft beers and wines, nice rums and palinkas, sandwiches, burger, salads, nice desserts.
