As many have mentioned, there is usually a queue. We waited 45 minutes. The queue continues inside on the couch so, the queue outside can be deceptive which you should keep in mind if you're on a time limit. Was it worth the queue? Yes,...we thought it was! We are not early breakfast eaters & usually do Italian style breakfast of cappuccino & a pastry & if we do have a cooked breakfast, never until after noon so, Cirkusz's brunch hours were perfect for us. It says on their website, the staff are more like family & this is true. On queueing inside you are in front of house with a window into the kitchen & they really do look like & operate like close family & friends working together. Great decor & seating areas, often tables are shared which is fine & makes for friendly atmosphere. Menus are given as soon as the queue reaches the door so, you are prepared to order when you sit down. They take your order straightaway upon sitting. Cutlery, serviettes & salt & pepper are already in wooden caddies on the tables & you are offered water as you sit down. We are pescetarian & vegetarian & although the menu appears quite meat based, they are happy to swap meat items for veggie items no problem in any of the dishes. I had the "recovery breakfast" & swapped the bacon & sausages for gouda cheese & mushrooms. The serving was ginormous. Salad served with it was a lovely addition along with freshly squeezed orange juice & croissant. All extremely tasty & fresh. I also had a cappuccino. My daughter went for the french toast which was well presented & not overly sweet with plenty of fresh fruit. I would visit again! 😊👍More

We saw a huge queue for this restaurant while walking around Budapest. We decided to pop in early on our last morning before any queues had developed. We are both vegan and although they don't say that they have anything vegan on the menu we...were able to have the houmous on toast without the butter. It was very tasty. Not sure if it's worth queuing for but was very nice.More

i had the eggs florentine and the plate came very poorly decorated and so empty compared to other restaurants as the Horizont and the Szimply that are one of the bests in budapest. The price was higher than the afformentioned - also too much oil...was used and the spinach didn't felt very cleantMore

The service was great and the food was amazing. Prices are reasonable for the quality and portions. The restaurant was completely full but the service was still fast.

Had to wait a long time to get a table on a Sunday but it was worth it. Food was nice. Had the unusual pulled pork on hash brown eggs Benedict followed by the caramel and banana pancakes which I shared with a friend. Pancakes...really hit the spot with great caramel sauce. Rumba cocktails also went down a treat!More

The food was great, nothing really special…. but beware of the “hidden” service tax, which is pretty common in BudapestMore

Dear Guest, There is no hidden service charge, you can check our menu and read the line on this. For your information, it’s a tax issue in Hungary. We pay the salaries of our employees 100 % legal when we apply the service charge. It’s...More

After seeing this place on tiktok we had to give it a try. When we arrived there was a few people in-front of us waiting for a table. We didn’t have to wait long at all before we were seated. The service was so good...and food was delicious! Would definitely recommend.More

We took our three teens for a very nice meal here. We had to queue outside but the queue moves quickly. The Mexican breakfast and waffles were both delicious, the English breakfast was average (baked beans were not very nice and there didn’t seem to...be as much food as on the other plates). Still, it was a lovely place and deserves its success and to be busy. Worthwhile visit.More

Really lovely brunch options. The cafe is very popular and you are unable to book so there was quite a long queue but the service was fast and the food was amazing. We had a big group and hardly waited for the food and drinks....They were able to cater for gluten free options easily and staff seemed knowledgeable about allergens.More

Excellent brunch menu, cozy ambient and friendly staff. On weekends it’s full and we didn’t have reservations, so we had to wait about 20 to 30 minutes.

Great atmosphere, service and food. Such a warm inviting environment and the food was absolutely delicious. The eggs benedict were some of the best I have ever had. Would certainly eat here again.

Seen this breakfast restaurant suggested a lot of social media so when in Budapest we decided to try it out🙂 you cannot make reservations for this place and I suggest allowing plenty of time as this place gets very busy so you could be waiting...a while. There are many different food options to pick from on the menu, I went for the pulled pork on hasbrowns, this isn’t something I’ve ever had before but WOW it was so tasty and amazing, The atmosphere in the place is really nice and all the staff we come across were helpful and friendly. If we were to return to Budapest I would 100% come back here for some food! And maybe come later on in the day so I can try out one of their cocktails😋More
