The staff is not well trained and probably working in black. They touched the bread and pastreys with dirty hands and flies are all around the shop and on the product. Disgusting place

Awesome pastries and breakfast stuff there. Coffee is great, too. So if you are looking for a place to have breakfast this is your place to be! Always super busy so be prepared for a queue. But absolutely worth the waiting time. Recommend the cheese...scones and their cinnamon buns. Note: closed on sundays ;)More

Another delicious discovery. We have tried 6-7 different things and everything - DELICIOUS. Only the coffee was very sour for our taste - I would change the brand. Very kind service.

Pekmuhely is definitely one of the best bakeries in town. There is no outdoor signage or marketing but all the locals know it. Enjoy the beautifully crusty bread, scone or handmade pastries which are baked daily.

I tried quite a few bakeries in this big town. The standard types are awful (what you buy in supermarkets). Most bakery chains also sell factory-made bread, inedible for my taste. Even the pricy high-end bakeries are not really good - except this one. My...wife is even pickier than I am, she also agrees to eat breads made in pekmuhely. The pastries are good, definitely above average but honestly, not my style. For bread and pastries, Peklany in Balatonfured remains the best in this country.More

Probably the best pastry I ate in my entire life!! Perfect chocolate, even to my Belgian standards ;-)

The bread and the pastries were top quality products. The cocoa rolls (cocoa snails) were outstanding. This was the best cocoa roll I have ever had in Hungary. The bakery was small and the staff was very helpful. This bakery is a hidden treasure in...Buda! :-)More

When we’re in Budapest this is the only place I buy bread because it’s simply the best. The cacao buns and the other pastries are worth an own comment. It’s maybe not the most perfect place to eat your breakfast because the place is quite...small but I can assure you it’s worth a visit. If the weather isn’t good enough to sit outside you can try the owners other place called Szerelmeslevél.More

The pastries were delicious! I highly recommend the garlic and sour cream pastry (I apologize I can't remember what they were called) but everything we tried was great. We went there as many times as we could during our visit. If you're staying in the...area, it's a perfect for a quick breakfast or snack. The staff was also very friendly and explained everything to us in English.More
