Great food by a great team. Family run and you can feel coziness and quality touch throughout - from menu to ingredients to service and friendly conversation. A balanced menu, local ingredients and top quality. Nicely located in a cozy street next to the Parliament. I already want to come back.

A friend and I were looking for a quick bite to eat before our river cruise and found this gem right by the Parliament building. I ordered the goulash soup and potato croquettes which were incredible and perfectly seasoned, my friend ordered the oxtail stew and was also blown away and all for such a reasonable price! A must visit in Budapest, the staff are so lovely and welcoming and even have us a taste of Budapest starter to try. Can’t wait to come back here next time I’m in Budapest!

During my recent trip to Biarritz, I had the absolute pleasure of dining at the Biarritz Restaurant and Cafe. This charming establishment exceeded all my expectations and left me with an unforgettable dining experience that I cannot recommend highly enough!
Nestled in a prime location near the coast, the restaurant offers picturesque views of the ocean, creating a serene and relaxing atmosphere that complements the exquisite food. The outdoor seating area is perfect for soaking in the stunning surroundings, while the interior is stylish and comfortable, making it suitable for any occasion.
The menu at Biarritz Restaurant and Cafe is an eclectic mix of local Basque cuisine and contemporary European dishes, ensuring there's something to please every palate. I opted for the seafood platter, which was an absolute feast for the senses! The fresh catch of the day, perfectly cooked and seasoned, was truly a testament to the culinary skills of the talented chef. My dining companion enjoyed the tender, slow-cooked lamb shank, which was equally praised for its rich flavors and succulent texture.
In addition to the outstanding food, the service at Biarritz Restaurant and Cafe is genuinely exceptional. The staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, providing excellent recommendations and making us feel truly welcome. The sommelier also helped us choose a fantastic local wine that paired beautifully with our meal.
Finally, I must mention the delectable desserts, which were the perfect ending to a fabulous meal. The chocolate fondant was rich and indulgent, while the fruit tart offered a refreshing, tangy contrast.

Filet mignon ordered medium was too raw. The side dishes were grilled vegetables and potato croquettes. Both were burned too much.
Not something worth visiting. There are plenty of alternatives in this beautiful city.

Came to Hungary for the first time. My boyfriend is Hungarian. We live just steps away from the restaurant. In my entire stay eating local and foreign food anywhere in Budapest nothing beats the tastefullness and service you get at Biarritz. From the appetizer to the main course up the dessert and coffee is beyond excellent. The best veal liver I have ever tried so far in my life. On my last full day, I told the son's owner I haven't tried the local goose liver delicacy yet. To my surprised I had a gift bag with their goose liver appetizer when I paid my meal. I highly recommend this place. You get a parliament view as well!

We ordered the roast stake from the menu, however we were not sure about the side orders. Full of inspirational suggestions received from the staff we ended up with an amazing side dish especially tailored to our taste. This level of service is rare and should be treasured. One can feel the passion for food and the enjoyment of the customer’s satisfaction. Thank you for this great memory!

Yes, there were quite a lot of porcini mushroom dishes on a smallish menu, but fortunately I like them. My mushroom soup was excellent. I followed this with some very tasty roasted goat, which you rarely find on a menu these days, so well done Biarritz! This is a nice little street retaurant near the Parliament building (see picture) which I recommend for a summer lunch or dinner. My waiter was jolly and attentive, the wine selection was decent, and I really enjoyed my late lunch. Not so cheap, but look at the location. I would go again.

My husband and I had a 1:30 pm tour of the Parliament and were looking for a light lunch beforehand. We found this gem right across the street and it was perfect. We each had soup - husband had fish soup and I had beef goulash soup. We were seated upstairs and the service was welcoming and efficient. Highly recommend this very nice spot!

Upon entrance, we felt immediately welcomed by the waiting staff and the comforting atmosphere. In terms of food, we were very satisfied with all our dishes from the amuse-bouche to the dessert; the food stayed true to authentic Hungarian cuisine with a sophisticated elevation. Undoubtedly one of my favourite restaurants in Budapest, highly recommend it !

Don’t be put off by the location, because this place is no tourist trap! Fantastic family meal and service was A grade. My wife and I tried the Hungarian options and the kids played it safe with steak and Italian chicken. All meals were prepared brilliantly and the wine choice of a Hungarian Black Cab Sav was delicious. The staff were happy to chat to us and even gave us choices of vine yards to explore in the Balaton area. Ten out of ten for these guys. If we ever make it back to Budapest, we’ll be eating here again!

After a long day’s travel we arrived in Budapest, found our accommodations and, luckily, stumbled across this restaurant. We were immediately set at ease and seated. We ordered as the waiter suggested (chicken paprikash and a wonderful braised pork, potatoes and garlic dish) along with a local beer. The food arrived quickly and was plentiful, fresh, flavorful and clearly prepared with care and passion. Prices were very reasonable.
Even exceeding the wonderful meal, service was wonderful. By the time we left, we felt like old family friends. We will definitely eat there again.

Friendly staff, and amazing local food. The restaurant is family driven and served us traditional food. We ordered a chevre and pesto Salad and the ox stew. Both dishes were amazing, but the latter is really recommended if you want to try something traditional and Hungarian.
The restaurant is located in a quite area, and the prices are good.

We rented an apartment through Air B&B on the banks of the Danube in Budapest right beside the beautiful Parliament Buildings and acroos from the Castle. The owner's family owned Biarritz so we decided to see what it was like. Martin, our host was just excellent in all respects and the food was outstanding. The front of the restauarnt was open so we could enjoy the lovely evening. Service was excellent and the bill surprising low for the quality of the food.

Fabulous evening in Biarritz restaurant. We were welcomed and served by the host Bálint, he really made our evening special with good recommendations for food and wine. The food was good, fresh and well portioned. Our every need was quickly met and we enjoyed the nice ambiance. Definetely recommend this restaurant, near the parliament building. Wonderfull experience!

We were on our way to a concert and were not seeing many restaurants until we came to this little street near the Parliament buildings. The food was delicious, and the friendly staff was so fun. As we left, a server told us that the "regular" who was there with his dog (we were all eating outside) was a famous Hungarian TV star. It was a lucky discovery. Delicious goulash, according to my husband. We highly recommend it.
