We visited on a Friday night and the restaurant was busy. I felt a little cheated as we were seated in the smaller room which lacked the buzz of the main restaurant. Service was good if a little fussy. The food was tasty especially the...bread and butter which was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. A little overpriced.More

This was a very special evening thanks to the very attentive and knowledgeable team of staff and the fantastic food at each course. Our waitress, Kyra, was superb looking after us magnificently - her refreshing and personal attention to all of the guests radiated around...the whole of the area she was serving. Full of energy and with great attention to every detail. What an ambassador for the restaurant! We will definitely return - first class!More

This place is inside the Four Seasons hotel. It’s one of the most beautiful buildings in Budapest. So dress the part. The service is what you would accept from a Four Seasons. We came late night to have dessert and coffee after our dinner. Since...it was very late at night when we arrived the desserts were all sold out. Rather than turning us away this extraordinary lady named Andrea went to see if the pastry chef could make something for us. To our delight he did and it was delicious. Any where else they would have said sorry nothing left. But Andrea went above and beyond to accommodate us. For that type of service is why I keep coming back. Andrea is a rare treasure you don’t always find when it comes to exceptional customer service in all of Hungary. Look for ward to next year to coming back to the Four Seasons and seeing our exceptional hostess Andrea. She is the main reason I would come back.More

The perfect stop off for post exploring cocktails! We didn’t eat here but did have a couple of late afternoon cocktails (including complimentary nuts and olives). The staff were pleasant and helpful and the atmosphere was relaxed and unhurried. It’s pricey but what else would...you expect for the Four Seasons! Beautifully decorated, very art deco - Great Gatsby vibes. Perfect if you’re wanting to splurge and treat yourself.More

Beautiful setting and lovely food. When a restaurant can turn a chicken and french fries dinner into a spectacular culinary experience you know you are in a good place. The chicken and the sauce were sumptuous and the fries were absolutely outstanding. The Goulash soup...was also very good, as was the lovely bread they served with it. Despite the lovely food, what really stood out was the friendly, service-minded and very professional staff. From the very friendly Andrea to our professional and good servers Mario and Mark. They made the experience exceptional. After dinner, we had drinks at the lovely and lively Muzsa bar, also at the Four Season’s. Live music and a great selection of drinks including local Hungarian wines. Lilla did a great job serving us and Dorothy and Johanna were great too. Congratulations to management for having this absolute pearl among establishments. We were recommended to visit and we will be sure to do others the same favor. Please keep up the great work. I visited Hungary and chose this restaurant for my birthday. The greeting I received on arrival was amazing. They where awaiting our arrival and took us to our table. I was blown away by how friendly the hostess was. Her name is Andrea and she...is a credit to this restaurant. She went above and beyond to make my birthday special and have me a handwritten birthday card. I was so overwhelmed & happy 😊 she even extended herself and gave us a tour of the lounge of the 4 seasons and a historic background of the hotel. If your lucky to be hosted by Andrea it will be worth it! 10/10!More

Nice dinner at four seasons hotel resturant. We sat outside as was a warm evening and was was good idea. Not a huge choice but still enough. Started with seared tuna salad which was tasty and the grilled Seabass with some grilled vegetables and fries....And small dessert at the end. Along a nice sauvignom blanc from hungary. It is not a cheap place but good food and service. Was a pleasant evening.More

From start to finish, this was a fabulous evening. We did the blind date meal with wine pairing and every dish and every glass was delicious. All the staff were delightful, but a particular thank you to the sommelier who was so friendly and knowledgeable....The head chef came to say hello too at our table and served a dish which was really nice. The quality of the food and wine was excellent, and the Hungarian wines in particular were incredible. A fabulous evening.More

Wow, this is a tough review to write. We LOVE the four Seasons. We've dined and stayed at different ones many times with amazing results. To cut to the end result, do not dine here. You will probably be sorry and wish you'd not relied...on Four Seasons spectacular reputation. Our dinner (an anniversary dinner that was not acknowledged) was so disappointing that afterwards we went back to our hotel room and cancelled a week stay in Hawaii for this fall that we had booked with in a Four Seasons hotel and rebooked with a similar quality hotel. We just had that bad of an experience. We did the expensive "Blind Date dinner with wine" on May 31st. Please don't do it. While the food was ok, our waiter was horrible and pretty much ruined the whole evening. There was a big soccer finals match going on the evening and I think they just wanted us to be done so they could go home and catch the end of it. The chef will not come out and talk about the food. Also, the nice young man bringing out the dishes had very poor English skills. Twice while explaining the dishes he said "I'm sorry but I do not know the name of the ingredients in English". So.... we're eating this and really don't know what all we were eating!!!! Completely inexcusable!! This is what you'd expect from a cheap restaurant, not a FOUR SEASONS! We had no idea what or how many courses would be served. I guess it varies. Well after a nice first course and a three light fish and meat courses our waiter brought out steak knives and a large fork. We thought, cool, we're going to get some kind of beef too with a good red wine. But no, he came back a couple of minutes later and removed the utensils and put down a spoon. He then smiled and said "you were probably ready for dessert anyway" laughed and walked away. Seriously! Unbelievable! It made us feel so worthless. We were all dressed up, but most of the room wasn't which was off-putting too. It was not crowded. If it were not for the excellent wine sommelier, the evening would have been a complete disaster. Finally, he left us waiting at the end for about 20 minutes until we finally caught his attention and asked "should we pay our bill now?". We had no idea if another final dessert course was coming. He then plopped the bill down on our table with his tip included and left. We wrote an email to the hotel, but never received a response. Poor. That tells me that the hotel portion is probably just as inconsistent as their restaurant and do not care about what their customers have to say about them. I think I'm going to write a letter to the main Four Seasons website. They really shouldn't have a facility that's this beautiful treating its customers like this. Really bummed, worst experience and/or meal on our whole two and a half week tour of Budapest, Austria and southern Germany.More
