Being used to British prices, the same quality of food would cost three times as much as we spent here (main meal x 2, cocktail x 2, beer, pudding between us). But regardless of that, the pancake choice was vast, everything we ate was lovely and the service was quick. My girlfriend loved her Lasagne pancake and the dessert pancake was MASSIVE and so tasty. We found this place via Trip Advisor and if you're in Budapest you must go and try it!

I think it was a really good idea to make this kind of restaurant, because pancake is a really simple dish, but here you can taste usual meals with unusual making, made all of them from this simple kind of pasta - the pancake.
I was in Bank3 for so many times, because I really love their meals. They make so many different types of pancakes, salty and sweet as well, so I can hardly choose from the menu. I've tried only the salted ones yet, because I often go for lunch and salty pancakes fits better for a full meal. The portions are pretty huge, sometimes it's a challenge for me to eat them all. And it isn't expensive at all.

I really wanted to try palacsinta during a recent trip to Budapest and it seems as if this place is very highly regarded in the palacsinta arena.
We were trying to squeeze in some food samplings on our last day and this was only meant to be a snack but ended up being much more because the food was so delicious.
We wanted to try both a savory and sweet version so we ordered one of each. I love that they have a bunch of vegetarian options. We wanted to order the pomodoro pancake with cream and spinach and parmesan but this was, unfortunately, not available. Instead, the server suggested the spinach and ricotta pancake lasagna. I was a little bit disappointed because I wanted to get the down and dirty PANCAKE experience but this ended up being absolutely incredible. What would typically be the noodle part of the lasagna was supposedly the pancake but I couldn't really tell. It was so fantastic it didn't really matter.
For the sweet pancake, they have so many options it's torture trying to decide. I wanted something different, so we ordered the elderflower cottage cheese cream filled pancake with homemade caramel sauce and honey biscuit crumbs. The portions were gigantic and it was a unique flavor combo but something about it was too much, maybe it was too sweet or the elderflower flavor was too strong. I couldn't eat too much of it before it became overpowering. GF had no problem taking most of it down, however.

This is a great place in a convenient location for The Light Art Museum, The Basilica, and many other attractions. The food is fast, attractive, and absolutely delicious. I had lunch there twice on a recent trip. The staff is friendly and efficient and they even have English menus available. The lunch special - that includes your choice of soup and a vegetable - is always the best value but the prices are reasonable no matter what you order. They have a comfortable warm inside seating area and clean facilities. Did I mention that the staff is great?

Bank 3 specializes in pancake dishes, all imaginative and well cooked with an extensive menu. Quite delicious, and check out their hot chocolate too, possibly the best I've ever had.
The place has a youthful informal vibe with friendly young staff making you feel welcome. Good value too, but it's very popular and can get a bit crowded. Highly recommended.

We are staying in the Hotel President and walked past this place and saw that it was really busy so determined to give it a try. At 7.30 the following evening it was very quiet so we were served drinks very quickly by attentive staff. The savoury pancakes took a little longer as they were cooked to order - I asked for no mushrooms and cheese was substituted, no problem. When they arrived we were a little surprised at the generous portions but managed to eat most of the Asian pancake with delicious baked sweet pototo and a beautiful cheese coated chicken breast. We even manged to share an ice cream and hot fruit filled pancake afterwards. The wine and water to accompany were fine, what's not to like. Give it a go, great place!

if you're coming back from a market that's around the corner... it's a great place to eat some desserts that are good here.
your further program can be successfully continued - the subway station is 100 m away.

This pancake house was truly an amazing experience! The pancakes were excellent – fluffy, fresh, and generously filled, whether sweet or savory. The selection was wide, and every dish was carefully prepared. The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff were very kind and attentive, adding to the overall experience. If you’re looking for a place to enjoy a delicious dessert or a great meal, this is definitely the right choice. I will certainly be coming back!

Visited with my elders today for dinner; it was great! Service was quick and the English translated menu was a pleasant surprise :). I had the Camembert & sweet potato pancake with forest fruit sauce - the latter was in a cute little bowl. Would definitely recommend!

The dish is enough for two diners, very tasty! We ordered Nutella chocolate, white chocolate and cottage cheese. The service is bad: waiting over 30 minutes, without patience to explain about the dishes, without a smile... as if they want you to leave.

Delicious Hungarian crepes (palacsinta) both sweet and savoury. Savory surprisingly filling (we had the four cheese). Sweet were also nice portions. Not air conditioned though (on a very hot day, would have been nice).

My sister and I were here, this was the first time for both of us at the restaurant. The place is nice and big. And the pancakes are heavenly!! Serving is creative and beautiful. We'll come again next time!
