They do have a great selection of cakes and ice cream. It is a rather small place with sitting area inside and outside. Service is very friendly and they do care for dogs. You'll find dog biscuits to purchase and they make sure your favourite...animal does not get thirsty either 😉More

First of all, the girl who's the waitress there is amazing. She's very friendly and you could tell she does her job very well. Speaks great English too. The cake that I had is superb, I'm not sure about the name but it's layered cheese...cream cake with caramel on top, so tasty and the latte is good portion for the price. Overall, really happy that I found this place. Will go back!More

They had a wonderful Csupacsoki cake! Very chocolatey and dense. They also had an award winning cake, as well as ice cream and many other lovely cakes and pastries.

This place is one of the best pastry shop in Budapest with unbelievable cakes and hand-made ice creams. I can tell that their ice-cream is tastier than some place in Italy. And the hot chocolate: there are no words to describe how good is it....... :)More

I read the raving reviews about the hot chocolate and wanted to try it. Unfortunately the weather apparently wasn't appropriate for it, so I opted for a cake instead. It was delicious! The waiter/owner was a really funny guy, I sat inside partially to listen...to his interactions with clients. Lots of people come in to get ice cream to go, seating is really limited so you may want to get something and carry it outside.More

Visited twice during a three day visit because I had to be sure that my husband had a chance to enjoy the thick hot chocolate. Loved the slice of cake that the server kindly helped me select!

Cosy, little place in Újlipótváros with marvelous products. The local ones are coming here to enjoy the cakes and ice-cream. Cakes are very tasteful, expecially the krémes. Ice-creams have very creative flavors, which we haven't found anywhere else in Budapest. A place we will visit...again for sure.More

Icecream tastes like fresh and natural fruit. Chocolate icecream is like a big bite into a soft bar of chocolate. "Cake of Hungary 2015" also available. Tastes perfect. Worth to target directly this place. Cake and icecream even for dogs.

That this tiny café in XIII isn't better known is criminal ... the hot chocolate here is a game-changer, by far the best hot chocolate I have had in Budapest -- and I have tried several! You know how at other places, even if the...flavor is good, the hot chocolate is still kind of thin and watery? Still sort of that white-brown color? Still tastes like high-quality cocoa powder stirred into skim milk rather than real dark chocolate melted into thick, creamy whole milk? Mimosa's HC is thick like pudding -- skin forms on the top -- and so deep and flavorful that there is no need to pile on mountains of useless whipped cream. It's decadent just by itself, and not too sweet, so there's no sugar shock. I know a lot of the other cafés in Budapest are much more historic and atmospheric, and I don't fault anyone for choosing to visit such establishments ... but if it's the best HC you're after, don't waste your time anywhere else.More

The small and lovely cake-shop has the best ice cream in the city. It is more expensive than usually an ice cream, but it's home made, and the taste is wonderful. In the "lúdláb" ice cream you will find real spnge-cake, also in the fruit...ice creams are made from real fruit and you can find the pieces. They also have ice cream for dogs! We also tried their cakes, but for cakes I would go to somewhere else: they great, much better than usual, but also pricey. Staff is friendly.More
