I was here with my gf for having a dinner. I remark some points that justify my score of 4/5: welcoming and warm location, very kind waiters, good food (we ate bbq hamburgers (very good) and a pizza (not very good)), also the presentation of foods was appreciated. A negative point: the toilette, dirty and broken toilette, it is absolutely not acceptable!!

Very good beers, nice atmosphere. Always a lot of people. We went three times and the last time we wanted to eat there… big mistake the burgers were disgusting and too expensive for what they were. The steak must have been defrosted I think it was disgusting I couldn't eat it. Too bad it left us with a bitter taste.
65€ for two beers and two burgers. Too expensive !!! We have other cheaper and better quality burgers to avoid!

Ideal place, to have one of the many beers they offer, a drink, for snacking or lunch or dinner. Very friendly staff, all speak English and are very efficient. Beer is cheap, half a liter three euros, but there are up to 2.5 liters...

We went in after arriving on a late flight and it being one of the few places open near the hotel.
Initially, we were met by a man who wasn't sure if he wanted to serve us. Then, an angry waiter. We asked her could we order food after waiting for 15 minutes and she told us to wait more and she never came back!
We had to ask another server who took the order straight away.
The food was of an okay standard, I ordered the beef brisket which initially looked great but was mostly fat at the end.
My girlfriend ordered a pizza which was cooked well but rather tasteless.
Also, be aware there is a 10% charge on top of already over priced food!

Terrible! Over priced and not worth the money! We were ripped off! We ordered the steak and when our orders finally came to us like 50 minutes later our steaks were cold and the herb butter was frozen 😱. We ordered coleslaw as well as the salad was sparse and miserable looking. They didn’t even bother to bring my husband his coleslaw and the one I got was served up in a sauce condiment because that too was sparse 😱 The waitress had no customer service skills I would have had a better conversation with a wet fish . She was extremely slow to come to us to take our order yet quick as lightening to remove my husbands beer and he hadn’t finished it yet either? Like was she for real? Other people arrived after us, and we observed they were served immediately and got their meals served to them before us. How does that happen? Tipping they set at 14% on top of an over priced and expensive meal, I refused to pay the tip given the horrendous experience inflicted upon us. I strongly recommend DO NOT eat or drink here. Stay away don’t waste your time, manners or money here.

Four of us ate here and all of the food was terrible, pizza was greasy and dough soft and wet underneath. Fish and chips was a small portion with frozen chips thinner than McDonald's and it is not cheap. There are plenty other and much better places to eat in this area so avoid at all costs.

We came for dinner here as it was pouring down and we were wet through and thought it “looked okay” from the outside. The waitress was SO rude and chucked the menu’s at us, a lot of the seating and furniture is old and ripped. I made the mistake of going to the loo after we had ordered, if I had gone before we certainly would have left if I had seen it before. If anyone remembers what nightclub toilets were like in the early nineties then you would know what I mean, toilets and basins full of god knows what. We had ordered a pizza, the bbq burger and a steak. The burger was dry and tasted disgusting, the steak was also burnt and as tough as old boots and the pizza was swimming in grease before I had even finished eating the waitress came and whipped the plate out from under me. Please don’t be fooled by this place it’s really not worth it!

Terrible service rude staff. Brought food for 2 people then 1 person didn’t get their food for 30 mins after I was up paying and it came and they went and gave it to someone else. Very rude and just shrugged shoulders when i ask where other burger was and said I don’t know when u ordered. No apology nothing. I think it’s one little lady doing the cooking she looks like she is on her own and petrified she was at the bar before we left.
No apology no one even ask how our food was worst experience ever in a restaurant.

Food was nice, however our waiter was so rude and very dismissive particularly to one female customer. Other waiters seemed nice and accommodating to other tables nearby apart from the one individual we unfortunately got assigned our table. Would not recommend!

Very rude staff. when paying bill I asked about the added 27% service charge!!! I asked why it was so high since the menu mentioned only 15% and once payed the waiter threw the receipt at our table and stormed off.

Visited here today for dinner. Ordered a pizza and a schnitzel, the pizza was nice but I think the chef may have got carried away with the dried herbs on top. The schnitzel however was inedible. Dried out and tasteless, no sauce, garnish or even salt and pepper on the table to season it. We told the server but he shrugged his shoulders and smiled. Won't be visiting again. Save your money and visit salt and pepper a few minutes away.

Drinks were nice , but really poor service , takes a long time to get served by staff they standing around, watching tele instead ! Have to go up to staff on floor to get their attention! Not friendly at all

Waited a while for our order to be taken despite there being only 2 other tables occupied in the restaurant however when they did appear the staff were friendly & professional and the drinks were good. Ordered a pizza & steak & chips and all tasted delicious. Nicely decorated place & some good deals to be had on drinks happy hour etc. would probably visit again!

The staff is unfriendly and rude, we waited a long time for the food. There was no internet in the pub and it was not possible to pay by card, where the waiter convinced us that we did not have money on the card, but we did. We had a bag with things left, when we came back it was gone, we asked the waiter who served us if there was a bag left, his reaction was as if he was seeing us for the first time, and of course we were left without a bag!

Pub and bar hopping around this part of the city we came across this Pointer Pub ,one of six Pointer Pubs spread throughout Budapest, we visited all six on our six day holiday in this most eclectic and vibrant city.
A great looking pub ,interior is superb, a British pub look,dark wood features, wonderful decor and furnishings, a great looking serving bar, big screens to enjoy the sport and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub, its just a great pub to unwind in.
We were here about 2pm just as happy hour was starting ( 2pm till 5pm ) and we ordered the pubs house beer " hunters gold " a delicious, golden lager style beer ,these were served in pristine and being iced cold and sparkling, we chilled out and planned out the day ahead while sipping our beers.
This beer is really good, light, hoppy and bursting with taste and just so easy to drink especially when served freezing cold as in this pub.
We both really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and as on previous visits to this particular Pointer Pub we had a great time.
This Pointer Pub is easy to locate along Terez Korut.
Opening hours are;
Monday to Thursday 2pm till 2am.
Friday & Saturday, 1pm till 3am.
Sunday, 1pm till 2am.
Well worth checking out if you're in the area.
