Can’t trust TripAdvisor in Budapest.. another disappointment. Had the cream cake and lemon cake. Didn’t enjoy them. Very bland and not memorable at all. I’m starting to think it’s just that the “traditional” food isn’t good in Budapest overall....
The very best cream cake or some call it a Napoleon or Kremshnitz! Whatever you call it no matter where you come from this is the best that I’ve ever had! Plenty of others to choose from and unfortunately, we only tried two! Plenty of...More
Behind the pistachio green facade, is a small tea room that has plenty of cakes to offer, including at least one gluten free option! The place has a distinctive historic feeling and the menu has a few words of explanation to give about its ownership...More
after a long hot walk around Budapest on Saturday we stopped for the famous cream cake! we ordered lemonades, me a Hungarian choc layered cake and my boyfriend the famous cream cake. it came in minutes, both delicious!!!!!!
we wanted to visit again before home...More

We arrived here during our Buda stroll, looking for a nice place to have a quick coffee and cold drinks.

However, both cakes and drinks we ordered were SUPERB and we enjoyed them...More
This was my 7th time in Budapest and the 7th time I've been to Ruszwurm, and every time I have the same cake - Kremes. The other cakes like Dobos are also amazing, and not to mention cheap. The only place I've been coming to...More
The historical center to a city with a multifarious and intricate past, Buda has some of the most outstanding buildings in Europe and an enviable natural landscape with stunning views onto the Danube. Centered around the Royal Palace, it provides a glimpse into the golden years of the Austro-Hungarian empire and the lives led by the aristocracy at the time. Matthias Church, beside the palace, hosted many
events attended by the royal family and was the chosen place for the coronation of Franz Josef, one of the Hungarian Habsburg kings. Having admired the palace and the church, a visit to Buda will be unforgettable by the stunning and memorable panorama over Pest offered by the seven towered Fishermen’s Bastion.
