I visited this place on last day of my visit when I was looking for a coffee. I ordered Walnut Butter Cake with Americano Coffee. The young boy serving me was very friendly. Some people have commented on high prices but I found their prices...quite reasonable even for Budapest standards. The Walnut Cake was creamy, fresh yet not very sugary. If you are in mood for a yummy Cake Slice in Budapest, this is the place.More

There is a good selection (more earlier in the day than later), but cake slices are on the small side and expensive. Polite staff, clean and warm coffee shop. Is a bit of a tourist trap, but the cake we had was very tasty.

We visited this establishment because of the great reviews. On the day we visited there was not a big selection of cakes on offer and those that were there looked tired - almost a few days old! To top it, we were a bit surprised...with the bill! It seemed rather extortionate for 4 slices of cake & 4 hot drinks. It turned out we had been overcharged in Hungarian Forint to the value of £18 UK Sterling!!! It was only when my husband heard what a Hungarian local had paid that he queried our bill. The owner / server took ages to sort this out & finally refunded the difference. She was apologetic & came back with a tiny bag of Viennese style biscuits by way of an apology. Mistakes happen... we are all human after all, but come on.... an additional £18 on TOP of a bill for 4 cake slices & 4 hot drinks? Surely you’d know a mistake was made? Unless of course they were silly enough to think they’d get away with overcharging us deliberately ! Be warned!!! Check your bill!! Do not recommend & will never visit this establishment again EVERMore

It's is just that simple. The apple tart was amazing. We just went by and stop spontaneously and took a brownie and the tart and boy.. I will eat that tart every day I am here in Budapest! You have to try it yourself!!

My sister and i made 2 stops on our trip to Budapest. You get to see the artists at work making the delicious cakes and the smell is amazing. We sampled chocolate fudge cake, the brownie and a raspberry vegan cheesecake.

If you have a sweet tooth then stop here for your fix. The deserts are all handmade in front of you so you know they are fresh. Prices are reasonable for the area.

Yes, they have gluten free, lactose free and sugar free cakes, all of them are properly labeled. Their coffee selection also contains a nice selection for people with lactose intolerance.
