This wine bar is located in the Gozsdu complex which is a place where you can find many bars and restaurants. This wine bar features wines from young Hungarian winemakers. the wines are excellent so is the food. I was totally impressed with their food menu.

If you into vines you should visit the place for special offers. For me the place is nice but too busy.

The selection of Hungarian wines is impressive, but the prices are a bit of a tourist rip-off. Still, if you like good wines, the place is worth a visit, but don't expect the cheapest night of your life. The staff could give us appropriate recommendations, I was satisfied with the service.

We wandered across this little alleyway of multiple bars and restaurants by accident one evening. We settled on DiVino for a drink and ended up staying for dinner. The waiter helped us to choose some wine based on our tastes, which was delicious and very reasonable (650Ft per glass). The food was also excellent. Would happily return!

Nice bar to sit for a drink with a nice ambience but bad service. We went for a glass of wine. We made the mistake to let the waiter to propose to us a local glass of white wine. He served us one of the most expensive wines they had without of course pre-inform to us for its price. One... More

Dear Pitrojohn, we are sorry for your bad experience. We are sure, that our staff wanted to offer you the best. We are selling only hungarian wines from the most exciting young hungarian winemakers. We are working with many small wineries, our winelist is carefully selected. Szimpla Kert is an other story, and we love it too! We are sorry,... More

Found in the Budapest guide book this modern wine bar is what it says on the tin :) good service, excellent selection of wine - our server recommended Kadarka to us and it was splendid. We had a quick look at the food menu and it looked class but we had already booked a table for tea somewhere else so... More

The wine list was extensive and one can find excellent hungarian wines at very reasonable prices. The finger food chosen was also very nice and tasty. It was a very nice experience.

Cool & nice place with great service. We had fish & chips and chicken - all at great taste. A huge selection of local wines. We tried a cabernet sauvignon that was excellent.

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
