We called here twice on our visit to Budapest.
Staff were friendly and the service matched.
The food was great and would recommend both the Angus beef burger and the Greek salad.
Worth a visit if you're in Budapest.
Come across this Restaurant walking around after not long arriving very generous portions delicious food staff attentive thoroughly enjoyed with some good beer would recommend if your a fan of Italian.
Sometimes I would steer clear of restaurants that are super central as they can be a bit tourist trappy but actually il Pastaio was a nice restaurant. My friend enjoyed her pizza and I opted for the salmon ravioli. It was tasty and there was...plenty of salmon pieces however wasn’t the biggest portion, I was quite hungry still afterwards. Prices were reasonable, not cheap like other places you find though. Service was excellent and I had a good view of the kitchen from where I sat.More
IL Pastaio is a small Italian restaurant on Fashion Street Budapest, very easy to locate. The Pizza is great, the spaghetti Pomodoro is good but the mussels in white wine is especially delicious . The coffee is good as well. The staff offers good and...food is served promptly. We went twice within 3 days.More
We stopped here for food before going on an evening river cruise. The bruschetta was very tasty, my husband had the salmon with salad and fresh bread whilst I had the steak arrabiatta which I was warned was spicy, it was but gorgeous my husband...was on water but I had a couple of glasses of their Cabernet which was very tasty. The service was good, a very good find considering it is in a quite tourist area it was very goodMore
We found this restaurant by mistake on a freezing January evening. We were sceptical about the wuality as it is located in the city center and in a very touristic area. We were surprised to find it an intimate family-style restaurant, with nice service. We...had a light dinner- tomato soup, onion soup, greek salad, grilled salmon and baked potatoes. All the dishes were very tasty and delicate.More
