When we visited, to be honest we were knackered and starving but found this spot and altho not very traditional, decided to head in. We'd the steak and a few beers and the steak was just great.

Don’t waste your money In here , staff are rude and miserable, place is dirty , sat outside and there was a broken glass on ground and was just left there even after the barmaid came out to clear tables , ended up picking it...up as lots of people walking dogs , Definitely won’t return much nicer bars and nicer staff who actually want your customMore

We went in here after a nice meal elsewhere and it looked very interesting as we had been passing. We may have been very unlucky but it was quite lively bordering on rowdy when we went (Saturday night) and to be honest I was disappointed...with the experience. The fact that so many British tourists were there probably means that if "lively" is your thing then this might be more of your place than mine. Probably a lot quieter during the day or not at the weekendMore

The price of 2 beers is different every time you order. Payed 700 huf, while the menu said 550. When asking the lady at the bar about it, she told me she added a 15% tax. However, 700 huf accounts to 27% tax... Total tourist...rip off.More

No Guiness, no Kilkenny, no Irish coffee, no cider, not very friendly, had to ask staff to clear the table we have been sitting at for ten minutes.

A group of ladies from Scotland (of a certain age!), we were wandering round this area looking for a ruin bar, when we spotted The Slang Bar. It was heavin!! (Scottish for bursting at the seams)!!! Full of friendly bikers, Premier League on the TV...and background music. This coupled with a bottle of very palatable white wine and a beer, half the price we'd paid everywhere else made for a great wee pitstop on our trip round this area. Can't understand all the 1 star reviews!More

Unfortunately I only checked tripadvisor after the first 10 minutes.... which is why I went to tripadvisor....just to confirm that I wasn't the problem. Everything was unacceptable from not having the wine bottle open in my presence, to having to pay cash, to waiting for...a very long time to be served.More

The food there aren't that good. It lack seasoning and the wings were overcooked. It's like eating card board boxes. The service were good. Food came out fast.
