Good food and great choice of music bands, but you wont be able to enjoy them. Last time we've been there, the concert was delayed by 40min, because visitors dined and management didnt want to disturb musicians with the kitchen noise. And the kitchen is...noisy indeed - if you sit in proximity of the kitchen or bar, you pretty much be listening waiters smashing the door and bartender cleaning glasses, but not the music. Second floor is for dining only, you wont see the stage, only on the screen, which defies the purpose. Waiters are either uneducated or overloaded - served us wrong vine both times we went there.More

Just got two tickets on the last minute. You can just pay to watch the Jazz, approx £4 each...but we chose to eat there as well, got there at 19:15 show started approx 20:20 so plenty of time to eat first. Food was top notch,...service impeccable, and great wines and beers to chose from, all very reasonably priced...example £49 for two course meal, 3 large wines and 3 large beers. Jazz show was great ...different bands most nights I guess. Ours was 4 guys from all over the world..playing there own stuff which I thought was excellent quality...very chilled...off the beaten track a bit...Tourists as well as jazz enthusiasts ..great mix of people...great ambient atmosphere...just not smokey ...but where in the world do you find smokey Jazz bars !! :-)More

friendly neighborhood setting, a delightful suprise find, complete feast for ears and gastro—complete with gluten free selections and well mixed drinks. We came from out of town, and they took our rez on line, as very accomodating staff throughout. Music booking and dinner was a...highlight.More

Yes, indeed! The hall is splendid, the service is very good, the prices are reasonable. And most of all the choice of the musicians is superb. If you want to enjoy jazz music in perfect conditions, just choose the night and the group!

Opus is highly recommended if you like Avantgarde & Jazz. The venue is designed for concerts and offers Jazz with dining for a reasonable price in a unique surrounding. But you need to book the concert tickets in advance. Notice! On the 23rd of April...you can join the Sketchbook Quartet (At) ! When eclectic postmodern chamber jazz meets prog-rock!More

Of all the beautiful things Budapest has to offer, this has to be the best experience of them all. We were unsure what to expect, but for £5 a head, our group of 4 ventured down to listen to an evening of jazz, accompanied by...some of the best (and most reasonably priced) food and drinks we've had all holiday. Our waiter (George Spencer was the English translation of his name) entertained us throughout the evening with conversation, bits of trivia, and even a brief traditional Hungarian dancing lesson. Honestly I couldn't fault the night or recommend it highly enough.More
