A truly excellent place to visit, in terms of atmosphere, interior design, quality Hungarian wines, and outstanding customer service including welcoming attitude, applied knowledge and personalized recommendations, and advanced English level of communication. The gentleman (possibly the manager/ owner) even let us stay quite a...while after the official closing time without saying a word (we didn't realize till we left how generous he was!). A well rounded experience of professional and authentic Hungarian hospitality, which isn't so easy to come by these days. Thank you very much indeed!More

Egy kellemes baráti program után tértünk be egy pohár borra és nem csalódtunk. Hangulatos kis hely, korrekt borkínálat és árak. A sajttál nagyon finom volt, a felszolgálók kedvesek. Ha pedig szerencsés az ember, akkor még néhány ismert stand-uposba is belefuthat :) We arrived after a...nice afternoon with friends for a glass of wine and we were not disappointed. Great atmosphere, good wine selection and fair prices. The cheese plate was really nice and the staff is friendly. If you are lucky you can even meet some stand up comedians :)More

We found this place and went back every evening for the rest of our stay in Budapest. Peaceful and quiet surroundings. So much good wine to taste. Very good snacks, salads and sandwiches. The staff and the owner are friendly and ready to help with...choices from the big selection of wine. Prices are very reasonable.More

Visited recently and was impressed with the wide selection of wines available at a very affordable price. We was informed that the wines mainly came from small vineyards around Hungary and not available in supermarkets. They also boasts having a wide selection of hand crafted...chocolates to try, would recommend a visit.More

We visited for opening time as advertised on the website (2pm) to be told they weren't open yet, with no suggestion of how long it would be until we could be served. The concept of a chocolate wine bar was a lot more appealing than...the actual experience...the bar maid couldn't be anymore disinterested if she tried and there was no offer of chocolates to compliment our wine choices. The chocolate selection was approx 10-15 chocolates in a small glass case, no menu options to have chocolate and wine pairings, it was just a bit something of nothing really. I wouldn't make the effort to visit this place again. If you want good wine, there are some lovely wine bars near St Stephen's Basilica.More

I was there many time. They have a great selection of wines. Also good that they happy to help you to choose the best one one for your taste. Time to time I take also for home or as a gift. And every time they...could give me a chilled one already. Perfect place to go and have some chat with your friends or just relax...and never forget to take from their chocolate. :) :)More

Really loved this wine bar. It was really nice inside, staff were friendly and the atmosphere was good. Great selection of wines and the staff know they're stuff and can make recommendations. The prices are good too, especially compared to what you'd pay in England!...Would definitely recommend.More

Sat in for a quick beer with a couple friend who were afterwards heading to the airport. Never heard of this place before and was in the area desperately looking for something comfortable as well as affordable. Well, we found it. The place itself was...nicely lit, atmospheric if you will. The staff were very friendly even when we began using wine corks to show each other "magic" tricks. Didn't get to try their selection of wines and chocolate, which I guess is their selling point, but a well served beer, just the right amount of froth, and a tasty pálinka in a proper glass did the trick. Will I be back? You betMore

This little winebar has a nice collection of lesser-known Hungarian wines, offers great hot chocolate and fine bits of apparently home-made chocolate confetti. Although "Death by chocolate" is an entirely different dish and not on the menu, I assume that chocolate lovers can get reasonably...close to Heaven here. The salad was also good, although a bit heavy on the cheese. Good wine recommendations, though I would appreciate a smile even if the waiter is a guy and I am not gay. During my three hour stay, it became increasingly clear to me - while other things were becoming inexplicably more blurry - that the snugging, smooching, kissing couples at the other tables were behaving more appropriately than me, as I was sitting there with my laptop, writing on my next book. So yes, do bring your date! Having read other reviews, I was impressed with the amount of wine in each serving. This feeling abated a little when I saw that the bill truthfully, I think, stated 2 dl per glass instead of the supposed 1 dl. I don't mind the extra money, but had to contend with being twice as drunk as planned for the next few hours - which was pleasant, but not very productive.More
