Cozy place with good options for breakfast. We ordered the breakfast platter and shared it - good amount of food for two people. The platter consisted of eggs, ham, sausage and bread. Overall a good place 😊

Found this little place on trip advisor, unfortunately the menu online is different to the one in store so not as expected. I had eggs Benedict which was spot on - the ham was excellent quality and very tasty. boyfriend didn't fancy anything on the menu so had some bacon and bread rolls but bacon was dry. Maybe that's the Hungarian way though 🤷♀️ service was ok but could be better. I would recommend this place to eat.

This place was around the corner of an Airbnb, and it was so good on the first morning that we came back a second time. First off, the tea comes in nice large mugs and it’s a good quality brand (I especially appreciated that the lemon ginger infusion came with not just a teabag but also fresh lemon and ginger). On the second morning we ordered chai lattes which were less of a hit, as it was lightly spiced very frothy milk with a teabag that was hard to steep. Hubby ordered the Eggs Benedict both times and was extremely satisfied. I ordered the scrambled eggs with Parmesan and added spinach - it was beyond delicious and tasted super rich because of the truffle oil, plus the toast on the side was great to scoop it up with. On the second morning I ordered the lentil salad which was more room temp rather than warm (as described on the menu). It was a very hearty portion, though a little underwhelming in the seasoning. The dishes are generous, so while I eyed the neighbor’s large and tasty looking croissants, we were too full to order anything else.
The service was speedy and kind, with an English menu and English speaking servers.

Fabulous breakfast
Best hot chocolate ever tasted, coffee was delicious too.
Had eggs Benedict 10/10, husband had French toast-he loved it. Definitely top of the list of places to eat for breakfast/lunch

Very bad experience. Tasteless food and they even had the guts to take double service charge on our bill. First they charged 15% on the food AND then also 15% on the coffee! There are far better places, don’t go here. It is a tourist trap.

Lovey food great drinks and such a nice sun trap.
Try to book if you come for breakfast as it gets busy. But for brunch you can walk in
Try the iced tea or the homemade lemonades.
The croissant pie is a must!

We come here every time we visit Budapest. The food is amazing and it has a great atmosphere! We have been coming to Budapest for over 7 years and the quality of the food and service has never changed. Its excellent every time. I highly recommend that you come experience it yourself!

Visited the place with parents and the brand new puppy. The inside place is a little crowded so short leash was necessary.
Our waitress was extremely friendly (both with us and the puppy).
The meals were really nice, the portions were quite enough. I ordered the eggs benedict (cause thats not available everywhere and I wuite like it) where the bun was quite sweet. It was surprising at first but complimented the meal after all.
The puppy got fresh water and some ham from our waitress.

Kuglof is a perfect spot in a charming area with indoor and outdoor seating that is covered by the arch of a building and not a flimsy umbrella. We had breakfast here on a rainy day and it was perfect place to be outside.
I had the yogurt, granola and fresh fruit plus a cappacino. Fresh and beautifully served. Plus the Kuglof cake -- which is like a small bundt care. You must try.
While the quality and freshness of the food at a restaurant is important the staff and customer experience is more important. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful!
I would highly recommend this place. Enjoy!

I was here two days in a row - I think that says it all about the quality of the bistro.
But what really blew me away was that on the second day I was greeted with a warm smile and the comment "One cappuccino?" (my choice from the day before).
Either the waiter has a photographic memory or is just incredibly attentive. In any case, impressive

We found this place accidently. The location is really pretty, the food is very good and the bar’s staff is really nice and frendly. The classic Hamburger with potatoes is really amazing and th platter of typical cold cuts and cheeses is very good. You can drink very real Italian Prosecco.

We just had a wonderful brunch at this restaurant! And we stumbled into it. The waiter, Charlie, went out of his way to set us up a table and we watched him as he served everyone with finesse. Such a hard worker . Then the food was amazing. We had both the savory and sweet French toast and my husband had the mushroom sandwich . My sister had scrambled eggs and ham We all loved each dish. I don't think you can go wrong with this gem of a bistro!

This is a small cafe situated in a nice little spot off of Váci Utca near the Danube River. I have only eaten breakfast here and have been here many times. The food is always delicious. It is a cute place to go to and drink coffee and have breakfast. Kuglof is dependable and serves terrific food. I will continue to eat breakfast there as long as they keep up the great work.

Great food! Great service! We loved this place so much that we had brunch here 3 times during our 5 days in Budapest. We had the eggs Benedict, the waffles, the French toast, the English Breakfast and homemade pasties. They are all fantastic. You will not be disappointed!

The boy was charming, excellent service. The beautiful and very pretty place. We ordered a coffee and it was very delicious.
I highly recommend it for its very central location, sun terrace, interior area and a menu with a wide variety. I hope to return 😊
