We went here a few times, both to eat and to just drink, and both times were perfectly enjoyable. Friendly, helpful & polite staff - though a little more of a language barrier it seemed - and a really good selection of beers both on...tap and in cans/bottles. If you want to try great Hungarian and regional craft beer, Kandallo is a really good place to start. The food is much more American style rather than typical Hungarian but that's not necessarily a bad thing (I love Hungarian food btw). It's a slightly weird layout as it's part bar/bistro downstairs and sports bar upstairs, but that's not something that gets inconvenient or annoying. Nice relaxed atmosphere too, with staff that keep an eye on your drinks but without pestering you. Great hosts in other words.More

Overpriced shoddy quality. There is also a 10% "service charge" that you pay at the counter and then you have to walk out with it to their terrace at the end of the street.

Best burger in town. Awesome beer selection. Staff is very polite and they happy to recommend a lots of good beers. At the top side in summer it’s a bit too hot, but it’s fine

We had a lovely meal here. The food is excellent, and the wide selection of craft beers is fantastic! The server was very knowledgable about the beers too, helping me pick out a good one to my taste. Definitely would recommend!

I ordered the CHEF’S burger (6.5 oz. smokey Angus beef grilled in bourbon, double bacon, spicy cheddar sauce, romain, tomato, lyonnaise onion, black pepper sauce) and I can say that it was one of the best gourmet burger I tried in this city! Not cheap...at all, but highly recommended!More
