The place is very small, and there's only space for about 5 people to sit at a time. It gives off an 'alternative', hipster feel; there is loud music. Maybe it's not very suitable for older people, considering they also serve street food.
Staff are friendly and are willing to help you with the menu, which is partly translated into English but there are parts without, like the soup menu. You wait for about 5 minutes queueing and 5-15 minutes for the food.
First we had 2 soups, one tomato ragu and the other was butternut squash. Both soups were very tasty and rich, with a strong flavour.
We had 2 baguettes, one pulled pork and the other was USA barbeque beef or something like that. The pulled pork was quite nice, whilst the beef one was slightly too greasy.
All of it cost 3800 HUF and they only take cash. The food is quite filling, with good portion sizes.
All in all, decent food, good service but we didn't find it amazing.

We tried the sandwiches with my partner and they were excellent,all the ingredients very good quality even the baguette.I tasted the hummus sappiens which is vegan and it was very tasty.The prices are very good and cheap.The owner was there working with his team and he was super polite and friendly.I highly recommend this place for very good street food.(even better than some restaurants in Budapest).

I visited Bors Gasztrobár for the first time in April in 2019 with my brother. I ate one type of soup from the daily menu offer with a huge toasted sandwich... It was amazing. The guys who work there are really fast and they're always smiling, the soups are always suprising me because of their extras and it's worth to try the different kind of sandwiches too. It's good for lunch as well but not expensive at all. The only problem is that the place is a bit small, only a few people can sit inside and eat at the tables. I advice to visit it before or after lunch or dinner time. But try their meals anyway!

Very busy little place. I just said to the guy serving me “feed me” and we got a delicious thick soup and very tasty (and very spicy) chicken panini. There’s little space inside but our apartment was across the street so we ate there. The staff are all very passionate about what they do and serve with a genuine smile.

We ate there two times. Enjoyed and will be back. Full of people each time. Everyone is polite, even the customers. Would recommend spinach soup. Cashier always tries to offer what ever they have as a daily menu (soups). Cash only place.

You can never go wrong with this place. My advice is to choose a sweet soup with a spicy sandwich. It's cheaper if you buy a menu like this and it's a great twist of flavors. It's only for takeaway so I recommend to take cutlery with you to reduce the plastic rubbish.

Really delicious soups and they change them everyday so you can try different tastes. Stuff speaks great English so it’s to communicate. They can serve you most sod the soups vegan or vegetarian, only a few are meat based.

Came back after a long time to see if Bors still provides that quality and comfort food; and I wasn't disappointed. Still serves the best and most creative variaties of soup & sandwhiches, still unpretentious and fast af. This food will warm your soul and cure any hangover you may have. 11/10

Normally baguette is not really my thing, but this place make I change my mind.
I took "The angry bird" is the perfect combination of chicken, cheese, sauce and jalapenos. And I also tried the Hungarian soup with pork and potatoes. That is also taste very good.
Recommended!!!

We came here based on positive reviews and they do not disappoint! Food quality is amazing and very unique! Soup was great and so were their lemonades and everything else. We've tried their turkey soup, and their angry bird and also pull pork. Their menu changes often but again everything we ordered tasted amazing!! staff was super friendly, patient and love their food and their bar!! Some of their menu may not be in English so do ask.

Wow, I have seen the advertisements and photos about this place, but nothing could prepare me for the experience I was about to have.
The photos alone looked so appetizing, I became hungry on the spot. Once we arrived at the location and entered the petite bar, we were met with an incredibly fun experience tailored by a bunch of welcoming, humble, and all-around cool dudes. You can feel the love they put into their heart-warming soups and delicious sandwiches as soon as your taste buds are flooded with ingenious flavors.
We will go back for more, no doubt.

Popped in here for a soup (carrot, mango coconut) and a baguette (toki pompas).
The soup was excellent, and I would be happy to try more.
The baguette was good, albeit a little salty, but that may of just been the style as it did contained sausage and bacon. Unfortunately I was not able to finish it.
The guys in the store are friendly, informative and thorough. Going through the ingredients and making sure I was happy with everything ordered. The team cheered and proceeded to do my order with good speed.
Overall, I would go again. There is many soups, baguettes, salads and drinks to choose from with many variety, made with love from an inventive team.
Make sure you have cash on you. They don't accept card.

Great combo soups and baguettes, fresh ingredients. Really small place, you can eat inside there are stools but essentially grab and go food. It’s on the main road you can’t miss it. Very friend staff that translated menu and suggested according to diet. There are meat and vegetarian options. They also give the option to order just a half baguette so there’s enough room for everything!

We came here on recommendation. The prices are affordable, the service is nice, there may not be much space inside (decorated in the style of Star Wars), but you can also take a sandwich in your hand and continue exploring the city. Everything is done with passion that is visible at first glance. The guys are doing a really good job. The cuisine combines different regions and flavors, everything fits together perfectly!

Visited Bors Graztro Bar in August of 2024 because of all the good ratings, and was a little disappointed.
The staff was nice, the decoration was great and super creative and the food was delicious but most of the reviews say that the food is very cheap and we paid 5,10€ for a small baguette, which seems reasonable but not that cheap.
The place is small and there’s not much place to sit inside. The environment is crowded, because of the line and the waiting time (15m), and a little loud as the staff is working in the same place. There’s no menu in english.
Still, I would recommend this place if you enjoy good street food :)
