Found the restaurant via TripAdvisor and good food, nice drinks and good tiramisu. The restaurant is an odd mix of different styles. The service was a bit below average and hard to interact with.

Food is tasty, portions are rather big - you’ll not be disappointed. Goulash soup, duck as a main course are really awesome. But I highly recommend you to order duck liver as a starter - so soft and delicate taste, you’ll not remain indifferent! There...is also wine card (by glass, by bottle) and famous cocktails. Staff is polite and helpful, staff speaks English. This restaurant is located near the Parliament building on the nice street with trees. There are tables inside and outside the restaurant. And there are warm heaters of each table on the street - it’s very warm and comfortable to seat there.More

I had spaghetti bolognese, though fairly nice the potion was extremely extremely small. Probably one of my worst Budapest restaurant experiences. Please do better on your potions

11 people sat down at 20:15. At 22:00 we still didnt have the main course. The food and drinks were okay but be okay with waiting close to 2 hours for your food. Its sad. Staff is nice, tip is already included in the bill,...food is fine but the waiting kind of makes u hate the whole experience.More

I made a reservation online and got a nice table by the street, which is actually the best part of the terrace. And the good news stop here. Our first came after 70 minutes of waiting , the hungarian wine which was recommended to us...was very bad (to say the least) and our second arrived 120 minutes after order. Besides, the traditional gulyas soup was average at the best and the wiener schnitzel the same. Service is not bad , but 120 minutes for a second is beyond any standard. All the dishes at the neighbouring tables were served in the same manner, long after order.More

Long waiting time for food, waiter was frustrated and unfriendly. At first he was unwilling to split the bill and I had to ask him several times before he did so. I do not recommend visiting this place.

If you are tired of the standard Hungarian local food, then you must visit Budapest Bisztro Csarda. The restaurant has a beautiful interior and excellent staff, located next to the Parliament building. The food is very delicious. I love local Hungarian cuisine but the chef...here gives it a twist with the use of different ingredients and different was to prepare it. We are so glad to have visited and this will be one of our regular places to get delicious Hungarian food.More
