Glad I found this no-frills very tasty Indian vegan/vegetarian restaurant. The masala tea hit the spot!

Great experience, highly recommended. I had two dinners here, both were very good. A friendly staff.
Limited options, but tasty and nice food. Always made fresh and quick. Cash only payment option though.
Have been looking for a vegetarian restaurant and found this one. It is very recommended. The starters are very good. Some of the main courses are very good (13 was amazing), others were fine. Great value for money (huf 11k for 3 starters, 4 main...courses, 3 cokes and a beer).More
My boyfriend and I had been wandering around the Budapest streets endlessly, stressing what we were going to eat for dinner. We started walking down a particular street and saw Bollywood. The place itself doesn’t look much on the outside but inside you are immediately...greeted by the scent of incense and the smile of the lovely owner (who also cooks the food himself). I had palak paneer and my boyfriend had aloo chole, both of which were very, very tasty. Bollywood is a little gem and well worthy of a visit if you enjoy tasty home cooked Indian food!More
When we entered to the hotel, we had mixed feelings while looking the posters and lightings. This is run by a man, house cum hotel sort of. We ordered samosa and a main course. When we tasted the first bite of samosa, heaven its the...only word flashed to my mind. The food which we ordered spicy was good. All the food are freshly prepared and are very delicious. This is a budget place and i would definitely recommend this place.More
My mom and I went to this place after I saw one of my favorite dishes (Shahi Paneer). The man running the place is really nice and makes all the food himself, fresh and made to order. My mom didn't want her dish really spicy...and he made it perfect for her. The ambiance is also nice. Overall a good experience. Just make sure to bring cash as he doesn't accept card.More
Genuine and simple small restaurant, very kind owner, cozy and charming atmosphere, tasty and hot food. Recommend!
This is an Indian restaurant at a convenient location. That's it. The pros end here. The ambienfe is extremely down market and suffocating and the food is oily buttery and extremely average.
We were craving for Indian food, an finally we had after many days, it was good just that the service was slow.
This is a lovely little indian deli, if your the kind of person that doesn’t want things to be too fussy. The menu is simple, without too many options, but everything i tasted was great. And the man who runs the show (and seems to...do everything there) won’t be hovering over you while you order and eat. Not the best indian food i’ve ever eaten, and the rice could have been better. But still tasty food wih good portions for a good price.More
Great little find for us, just round the corner from the apartment we are staying in. The gentlemen is clearly working by himself, takes your order, cooks and cleans up! Always smiling and lovely, can't fault his service. The decor isn't the Ritz, but our...starters and curries (plus naan) were great, and fully in the knowledge it was vegetarian. A lot of reviews here say about the rice, ours was fluffy and just lovely. Relaxed and chilled atmosphere. Thinking about coming back later in the week!More
me and my 3 friends ate here and i have to say that was i mistake. there was only a few people before us, and we still needed to wait our foods more than 45 minutes. one portion was warm and other three just cold...and it doesn't even taste good. we tought that because we wait so long so the food must be good mut no. the guy also took us garlic naan bread, we didn't order that so whe tought the naan includes to portions. but the guy still put the naan to to our order so we needed to pay that also :D dislike !More
Nice little restaurant serving good Indian food. We ordered palak paneer, chhole with rice combination and it tastes good ! Though I didn't notice but my wife felt rice could have been better. Run & managed by single person Mr Singh, who arrived in Budapest...few years back. We think Samosas are the best here, probably best in Budapest ! We will surely visit again just for Samosas & chai (tea) :)😊More
I had ordered the chole rice combo. The chole was good. The rice is not so great. Don't expect some great ambiance here. Has a lot of Photoshopped Bollywood star pictures. But the man running the place seems sweet.
