During our stay we ate at the restaurant. Ok it was a Sunday night but we were not the only customers there. First in a not friendly way, the waiter told us that they only accepted cash (florint or Euros). The waiter came at least...More

The place was very nice looking and cozy, but the food wasn't good or fresh. Simply put, paying 10k for 2 mains and a beer doesn't justify dry, overcooked chicken or mash made out of powder.

Food was ok (not great) but nobody was friendly. We were so pissed after being ignored for 20 minutes and just left. There are many good restaurants in the city--try them, never this one. Just Terrible.

We had a pork stew with rice and a beef stew with Hungarian noodles. Both yummy! The goulash soup standard. Don't expect too much of the service, very standard. We had a bottle of sweet Tokaji wine, exceptional value! If I am in this area...More

The food here is edible - if you're extremely hungry. All menu offerings are inexplicably double or triple the price they merit. The fish soup, a dish this restaurant supposedly prizes itself on, was not only lukewarm when served, but also tasteless: it literally might...More

Wow - Really enjoyed this early dinner. Traditional and local food just around the corner from Art o'tel made for the perfect pre-travel meal location. Menus are in Hungarian, German and English so no issues there. Local wine was fairly priced and just the right...More

The decor was worth the visit, boating theme all the way, hence the fish. I had Catfish Fillets for the first time, so sweet, but I have not seen them on a menu before. The wife had pork and was very pleased, our table mates,...More

One of the closest to the Victoria Hotel this restaurant must be one of the best on the Buda side of the river. Real Hungarian dishes which were like home made and served in a cosy, wood lined restaurant. We had to go back after...More

While entering, we were asked to pay by cash. If that wasn't a problem, we could enter. The food served was as expected. Tasted expected, not above average. I would recommend this restaurant if you are searching for a quick diner, not expecting too much,...More

A great restaurant situated just off of the river nearby to the Art o'tel. The atmosphere is friendly, quiet and warm. The selection of food was wide and all looked fantastic. We both enjoyed our home cooked Hungarian selection with a very nice wine. Staff...More
