Before my visit to Budapest I did a bit of research and saw this restaurant mentioned. I didn't think I would actually be able to go to it. We were wandering around after a conference, feeling peckish, went up a side street from the Danube...and found this. I've been in very similar places in the UK many times, so I knew what to expect. One of my colleagues is also vegetarian and he was amazed by the choices. We went for the set lunch as it was too overwhelming to decide. My other colleague is a healthy sporty type so she was also enchanted by its vision and the tastes. By Budapest standards, extremely cheapMore

Good vegetarian food, mostly Indian, near the centre of Budapest. You go to the counter and pick what you want; staff are helpful in explaining what everything is. Two people can eat for about £10, so won't break the bank. We'd go back!

We were totally satisfied with that restaurant. Lunch was excellent, we had hummus complete and hummus with minced meat. Waiter was very kind and friendly. We can strongly recommended this place.

I came here a few times when it first opened, as i was living locally and enjoy vegetarian Indian food, and then avoided it completely as it so bad. Have been back a couple of times lately when hungry and passing by, and both times...I walked out. Food here is ALWAYS tepid at best and on occasions - like yesterday - it is stone cold. Staff most surprised when you want it heated up. No names or descriptions of the dishes on offer are ever on display and the quality of what you get is poor: bland and tasteless - not that it is easy to tell sometimes, as you are always eating cold, congealed food. They do not take cards, only cash. Restaurants here that only accept cash are always suspect, as well as massively inconvenient for customers.More

Very tasty food with large portions. Two people can eat to heart content for just 10 pounds with drink. Very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend this place for vegetarians.

The food was delicious especially poori and mixed vegetable. But the lady at the counter did not show much interest in welcoming and listening our order properly. she looked too busy to ask anything. If you are really looking for pure vegeterian Indian food desperately...in Budapest, you can have food here but don't expect much from staff.More
