The Male Manager - observed him on numerous occassions in this Bar/Restaurant - is Hands on. It is obvious - he runs and Manages this establishement - his way. He appears an institution in this particular part of Loevohaz utca - with numerous passing by...as you drink and eat - exchanging pleasantries to him. He and his Staff - pleasant and attentive providing caring and appreciative patronage of this restaurant. It's petite inside could be termed cosy and romantic but make it to the reason and mood you find yourself inside rather than outdoors on the utca. The menu choice of food variety - satisfactory - without all the "bells and whistles" that come with other similar eating places. Price range - is mid range but the quality service and attention paid by staff - there attitude of appreciation makes vising this restaurant - relaxing and pleasant. We will come again - sooner than later.More

This winebar in Buda has a nice atmosphere. It serves good wines (at least the red ones) and decent cocktails. The food you can order with it is okay, but certainly not spectacular. The cheese and the meat platter are what you expect from such...a platters. The vegetables with spread (a sort of baba ganoush) were very basic. The burrata salad was a bit dissapointing, because the burrata was not reallt creamy, like the real burrata should be. Kave es Borbar is not particulary cheap, but the experience is good.More

Pretty small but cosy place. You defiantly need to book to get a table. The stuff were nice. Food was good and pretty big portion. Prices are a bit much but once in a while it is OK.

12 of us wanted to go in to eat something with our own wines as they do not have quality authentic wines. They did not let us in. Do not know why as we wanted to spend for 12ppl dinner. Should be open for our...own taste. Anyway not recommending for anyone.More

Little place, good for wines, however very small and if busy can be extremely noisy. Few options for food only, so you may not easily find something you'd like to have. Have been couple of times, and staff was not always friendly and quite slow....I was there about 4 times, and actually only once enjoyed it, when staff, food and noise was all ok.More

It was one of the first days good enough to have an early dinner outside, siting in one of the only remaining pedestrian precinct close to Széll Kálmán square. Service was acceptalbe without any feeling of honest hospitality (one of the waitress are continuously played...with her phone meanwhile sitting by a table next to mine). Meal (hamburger preparation time was almost 45 minutes when the place was almost completly empty. By the way, the quality of the food was terrible. The potato was overcooked, dried and seriously oversalted. The meat in hamburger was almost burnt (seriously overcooked), bun wasn't fresh enough, as well as most of the ingredients. Meanwhile the price was high (much higher than accepted). Finally, just to mention. This place is a winery/cafeteria, not a restaurant. It may be better if they completely close the kitchen and start focusion only on one (or two) main service: wine (and coffee). The only reason for 2 and not 1 out of 5 is the scenery and relative calmness of the surroundings. For a glass of wine, it's possibly a very good place. For a dinner -- no way.More
