Very nice place, wonderful hungarian food, most friendly staff, you need to make a reservation because there are few tables, you feel like a local and not like a tourist 👌🏻

Very nice food and attention. The environment of the restaurant is really nice as well and the price is more or less reasonable.

We were so........ disappointed! How can this restaurant have this ranking? The day before we ate in our hotel, Nemzety hotel, and the food was fabulous. And there restaurant didn't show up in the top. We really don't get it. There are only tourists. NO ONE LOCAL. I am giving two stars because the service was friendly and there was... More

We enjoyed one of the best meals of our trip here! We didn't have a reservation and were almost turned away. The wait... More

The moment you arrive you are personally checked in and directed to your table then looked after by one of the smiling waitresses. It is always nice to be greeted by smiling waitresses and to have a chat with them. Food is nice and although menu is limited there should be enough choice for most tastes. They operate 1.5 hour... Goulash very tasty, main meal big and delicious, desert very nice! As a present we have received Palinka (traditional drink) at the end if our meal. Definietly... More

We enjoyed our lunch in this small restaurant in the very center of Budapest. The cold appetizers were delicious and so the main course with the pork. I did not like so much the other main course, but probably it was personal taste. Very friendly staff which tries in every way to make you feel comfortable. Huge portions. Prices maybe... More

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
