Lovely place with a great atmosphere and wonderful food at an affordable price! A must for visitors.

This is a veritable Berlin.-style café in the heart of Budapest. Fantastic decor, ambience and café products. Dogs friendly. Very nice service. Overall a fantastic place to hang out, prepare for your German class (Jedermann is part of the building that houses the Goethe Institute,...i.e., the German Cultural Center in Budapest), meet up with friends and/or (in)significant Others. Jedermann offers very nice jazz events some nights. To make a reservation for a table for a jazz event, guests are asked to send an sms to Jedermann's phone number. On the mediocre side: the food shows little variety and the range is limited. Whatever they do serve, tastes good, and it is a good option, but few people go there for the culinary pleasures. It is getting worse and worse as time goes by... slow service, food is not as good as it was years ago...

This is the perfect place: simple but elegant, warm, live music, good choice of cheap meals (combination of the day less than 10 euro) and extraordinary quality. I suggest grilled ewe cheese and potato pancake filled with bacon. Absolutely divine!

The restaurant has a beautiful, laid back, jazz like atmosphere. The Dutchman who runs this place is normally at the counter, but somewhat reticent. I had a French Toast, my husband a coffee and our friend had a Hungarian goulash. All were fine. The lower...rating is not because of the quality of the food but because my taste buds are not so attuned to Western fare. But it was a good visit, one we would like to repeat with friends for coffee and desserts. The fact the restaurant was inside the Goethe Instititut sort of made it more relevant !More

Jedermann is a lovely but somewhat shabby café with a lunch menu at midday and light bites in the evening. I had a quiche and my husband had a French toast – both were satisfying as we were just a little hungry. Our food arrived...within no time after we had indicated that we had only half an hour to kill before a theatre performance. It is also a nice place for having drinks with friends while listening to some live jazz music. Prices are still modest and it is always open!More

Good choice if you are looking for place to have a quite dinner. Not the cheapest one but quality of food and drinks is good. In summer season they have a little back garden open which is really nice. They have live jazz concert usually...on Friday, so reserve might be necessary.More

Hidden jazz bar in the street but we had a drink 2 evenings with some nice Belgian beers. Very cosy and nice jazz music in the background. Too bad there wasn't a live band during our stay.

Slow service. Don't accept credit cards. We ordered goulash, sliced pork, chicken breast with mozzarella. Everything wasn't tasty.

Had great food for lunch and also had a very good breakfast here earlier this year. They also have a backyard that's very cozy in summer. Service could be faster, but they make up by it with niceness.
