On our first night in Budapest, we were looking for somewhere where we could try out some of the local dishes. We shared a platter of three dishes for about £30. It was excellent, more than we could finish between us and set us up nicely for our week here. Good service and reasonable value for money.

Had a great dinner and the crew was absolutely the best! Shout out to the waiters Geri and Csabi who made our dinner unforgettable and funny. And shout out to Tomas, the bartender who prepared the best drinks for us and the nicest coffees. Would come back anytime!!

I had a very nice meal here tonight. Try the Rosemary Lemon Drop and Zucchini soup. My only regret is not being here long enough to try some of their other dishes. Portions are small enough that you can actually order a starter, main coarse and dessert without overdoing it.

Just back from Budapest after a 4 night stay, the food was so good the first time, that we went back a second night; service was excellent, our waiter was very helpful, we wanted to eat something Hungarian although the restaurant also has a Mediterranean feel to it, he was more than happy to help us with our selections from... Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
