The veggie burger was great, very well presented, has a nice terrace outside, so you can sit in the sun and relax. busy and good atmosphere, a little noisy with traffic. price was not too bad. Would go again.

A little gem hidden away in a corner of Budapest. We had a fantastic meal here during a recent holiday in the city. The standard of restaurant in Budapest can be very high but this stood out (by far) from the others we tried. The service was first class and the team were very friendly indeed. Well worth a visit.

Just called for quick lunch on my way to the airport. Very efficient staff, good food. Have to say that home made lemonade was average but otherwise can recommend

Had dinner here tonight. Absolutely loved the food! Some traditional dishes, had rooster stew with home-made pasta + cottage cheese, my husband had gooseliver & beef sirloin. Would go back any time! It was expensive but the service was excellent and the food sooo delicious.

Was headed to ATM when young lady asked us to come in. She said they had vegan food which interested my wife. The next day another restaurant rated highly by some was closed so we dropped in. The friendly waiter gave us some suggestions when I asked him. Everyone loved their food. The strawberry soup was fantastic. The trout and... More

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
