I just love the fact that the restaurant is located just next to a park and you feel the quiet and tranquility during your dinner or lunch, and not the loud traffic or busy life around you.... The staff is super welcoming and attentive, never...felt any negativity from anyone. Service is always prompt and professional, all our requests were met properly. The food is delicious, seasonal and very tasty. Portions are also really big, worht every penny. I recommend this place even for bigger groups.More

Good but not great

My husband and I went for dinner, the location was good for us as we could walk to the restaurant. When calling to make a reservation, they said that it’s tight but they will fit us in. The restaurant was not busy at all when...we got there and it stayed that way. The food was good but I think that they can be a bit more advantageous with their flavours. I had the lamb rib with carrot main course, I think this dish was missing something. The most disappointing thing was the service. In this calibre of restaurant I would expect some attention from the staff especially since it was not busy. Our first waiter seemed disinterested and then after ordering wine and starters with him, we were then pasted over to another waiter. It felt like the first waiter did not want to service us for some reason. The waiters seemed more interested to socialise with the bar staff instead. Both waiter’s service was subpar and makes me not want to come back to this establishment.More

Perfect business venue

I come here regularly for business related lunch or dinner, and the place never disappointed me. The food quality is very good, and the menu is also varied frequently. Service can be slow sometimes but the staff is nice in general.

Under the chesnut trees

Next to the chesnut tree garden there is this fancy place with great selection of wines, beautiful and delicious, high quality food and excellent service. Amazing choice not only for romantic dinners but family events as well.

Loved it again

Nice surroundings, right by the Gesztenyes Park. We sat outside, nice, comfortable tables, but the umbrellas do not protect all seats from the sun. Service was polite and friendly, meals were good and the child animator lady was very creative and nice. We will come...back for sure.More

Nice food, good location

This restaurant being an upscale gourmet place turned out to be a bit of a disappointment, hence the rating I've given. The food was tasty, but one of the dishes we've chosen from the menu - which is not extensive - was not available at...5 pm. Not something you'd expect from such a restaurant. The other thing was the bread offered with the cheeseboard. At such a gourmet place you'd expect to get some locally produced speciality bread. Instead a plain, simple white bread was offered, the type one can get in every supermarket. The service was good.More

We stopped for a lunch at this beautiful restaurant, service was OK, average lunch menu, we both had the “halibut” for main course, I know it’s an upscale fish and I was wondered to see it on a lunch menu. It was cooked perfectly but...unfortunately it was not a halibut for sure... I had halibut all over the world but never saw such a shiny flesh... if it was halibut I would definitely serve it with the skin on... we also had some issues with paying as they charged us for desserts and we never had any so I had a little argument with the waiter. fresh tasty modern

We had dinner here with a group. The menu offers a variety of dishes which are freshly prepared. The waiters are very friendly and help with adequate advice. Worth a visit!

Definitely will go back

Enjoyed the menu choices...delicious fish choices rich with perfectly roasted assortment of vegetables. Perfect summer evening meal. Wine choices were good. The outdoor seating is nice....now only if the weed wacker nearby hadn't been working this evening...

Excellent

Family dinner here with kids, a great atmosphere. Staff is very friendly, wines were great. We tried the black and white burger and red snapper dishes- delicious! Can’t wait to go back! Also definitely try the sweets, not what I expected but sooooo tasty that...I wanted to have 2. Not the cheapest in town, but in a quiet romantic setting. They have indoor and outdoor seating, and there is a small kids playground aswell.More

Very good food, nice staff, unfortunately no or little choice with food intolerancy

We loved this place bc of its ambiance and the entertainment it offers for kids. Our waiter today, Janos was absolutely amazing. Unfortunately there is little choice for people with food intolerancy. For instance absolutely no milk or even lactose free dessert... The kids menu...for instance contains gluten, lactose and milk protein, eggs. This is such a pity, bc otherwise the chef cooks really well!More
