When we eventually found this restaurant. We were not disappointed, greeted by a lovely waitress very friendly. Shared a Pesti Disznó Appetizers for starter. My husband had pork collar, I had chicken and butter bean stew for main, really enjoyed only thing both had basil...oil that wasnt needed more jus would of been nice as tgis was delicious. Plus we had one a dessert a bottle of wine and water. Price very good we would of had this at home it would of easily been double the price. If we were in Budapest longer we would revisit.More

We went twice to this restaurant. It offers Hungarian food of good quality and it's located near to Andrassy Avenue (not an easy venue to find good restaurants, lots of tourist traps). My advice to the staff: try to welcome your guests with a smile...and at least pretend you are happy that people are choosing your place, among the many options available in central Budapest. It does make a difference.More

Excellent appetizers, specially the Foie and the Venison ham. Goulash with Gnocchi was just delicious, great pairing result.

This restaurant specialises in pork, but there are other meats on the menu (but not great for vegetarians). The waiter was excellent, very knowledgeable and helpful with the menu and wine. We had a sausage special (can’t remember the name) and the goulash, all beautiful....Restaurant is in a good setting, near the theatre and lovely ambiance inside. Definitely worth a visit!More

Michelin recommended. Got some meat, which was soft and perfect. The prices are a little high compared to other places around, but really high quality as well

Absolutely loved this venue. Our server Joe waa superbly knowledgeable and made amazing recommendations. I had the goulash while my partner had a strip steak. Joe talked us through the meals as they arrived - including warning me about the hungarian pepper, which I should...have heeded! Pricing was also really fair for what we got - back home in Edinburgh I would have expected to pay twice as much for that quality. 100% would come back.More

I had the best gin and tonic drink ever. The melon soup was unbelievably good. Even the burger was amazing and the accompanying chips were better than any chips I have ever eaten. The flavour combinations were extraordinary. Best restaurant I have ever eaten at....Yum yum yum!!! THis was the best dinner we had during our whole European tour.More
