We wandered upon this restaurant on our way back to our hotel. It is located on the Buda side of the city. The restaurant was quiet and intimate. Our server was friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious! All of our dishes were as...good as home cooked meals and the wine & beer was good also. The restaurant's prices were very reasonable. This should be on everyone's list to visit when in Budapest. We would definitely visit this restaurant again.More

Great local food. The best goulash during the holiday. Service was good although communication was not easy (very little English).

Me and my husband had lunch here today, very nice place with quite music. I ordered deer, it was very beautiful and tasty dish. My husband tried a catfish stew and enjoyed it as well. The restaurant offers also a business lunch, with soup, main...dish and dessert, but we didn't try it, because we're looking for special dishes. I would like to come back and try other dishes too.More

Excellent cuisine, traditional Hungarian food with a European touch, professional, friendly service. You may have inexpensive, still tasty daily menu or make your choice a la carte. The place is run by a devoted couple: the husband is the chéf, his wife Ildikó, the charming...manager is the soul of the restaurant. Everything is clean and orderly. You feel like at home. In lunchtime it's always full, better to come after 1 p.m. or make reservation.More

Really nice Hungarian restaurant with a very talented Chef, very good quality food, very little English spoken which enhances the fun, very sympathetic waiter/owner. Not in the most glamorous part of town but please don't let this put you off, great culinary experience at a...very reasonable price.More
