I've been herr quite a few times and enjoyed the food and music. There's a range of Scottish beers and football memorabilia which is a nice reminder of home. Service is really great: friendly and quick. They have a really worthwhile selection of whisky, too....It's a good place to watch football with a mix of locals and expats.More

First time we enjoyed even though one of the beers we received was "off". It was exchanged without hesitation and staff apologised. Second visit we ordered food but due to the bar being extremely busy and not enough staff on the food was cold by...the time it was delivered to the table. This was returned and new meals cooked but due to the delay we ended up missing our evening cruise on the Danube. Some staff are extremely nice whilst others a bit frosty.More

Visited here to watch my team playing. I messaged the night before to ask if they were showing the match and they got back to me very quickly. Pub was quiet. Service was good. Food was tasty. Tv was a bit intermittent as the game...was being streamed.More

Thank you for your evaluation. We are trying to stabilize our stream service, but unfortunately we have no control over the ISP. But we strive to develop for the maximum experience! Best Regards

I was really happy when I found out this place is playing the ufc 246 fight on as there was no other place around budapest that did it. Me and couple of my friends decided to go ahead and watch the fights there that night....It was all going well until we ordered our second drink.... for the first round I ordered vodka and coke and my boyfriend got a beer For the second round I only wanted vodka with no coke as I still had some from previous order. They pretended they don’t understand what we mean and poured us both drinks.... fine we let it slip that time. For 3rd round we went and said specifically “ can we have ONLY vodka “ what happened? Got vodka and coke and even as I was saying no no coke no beer they claimed they don’t understand which they clearly Did... The English they had seemed to be very selective.. they understood what they wanted ... the pre fights were on in English and Hungarian however once the main fight of Conor McGregor started they changed it into Hungarian dubbing so the STAFF could understand it better!!! Not to mention there wasn’t too many people there and the once that were , were English speakers only! We asked them to change it back to English and again they pretend they didn’t understand... to top it all off... We have seen the staff preparing some food.. at first we thought it’s for them which is fair enough as fight was at 5 am... though when I went to the bathroom I’ve seen people at the pub eating it ( not the staff) so we asked if we could order some food too, even chips or something. To which we got told “ we don’t serve food at that time “ absolute lies!!! Quite disappointed with that night and the way we were treated and other customers that day. If you don’t want to be friendly or run a night service don’t bother as to be honest next fight I’ll rather watch at home than go to this place due to their lack of respect and kindness to customers!!! ShockingMore

Dear commenter! Thank you for your comments, but let me inform you that personally, as the owner, I was at the counter that night serving our guests. Obviously it is my primary priority for my guests to have a good time, so it is inconvenient...More

Great beer, stunning food and amazingly wonderful staff! This is best place we went in our holiday in Budapest. They gave us an amazing evening and thought to everything to made us confortable and happy! Special mention to the birthday brownie they made last minute...and the colour book for our daughter!!! They were really, really kind! We certainly come back!More

We found ourselves hungry and wandering around Budapest after a very long day sight seeing, we where looking for somewhere to have a meal and we stumbled across this Sports Pub. It was early evening and the staff were very polite and keen to serve...us, so we ordered our meal and had a few drinks. After a very short time of waiting the food was prepared, cooked and served piping hot. The meals were absolutely fantastic and at a reasonable price too. There were quite a few people in the public places within the bar and these were tourists and locals, everyone was very friendly and the atmosphere was fantastic too. We spent another hour in the bar chatting with some locals and tourists and it was a great evening. This evening was the eve of the World Cup Rugby Final which kicked off @ 10am (Hungarian Time) so being a Sports Bar I asked a silly question if the Rugby was been shown here in the morning ( I doubted this because it is a Scottish Themed Pub - There is a Joke There) the bar staff confirmed it was so that was the next morning sorted. All we had to do was to get back to our hotel.. well that is another story as I am a big lad and my poor wife had to lead me hotel bound, those Cherry Shots do not half hit you when you get outside. The next day came, we were up early and we packed our suitcases as we were heading home that afternoon, once the bags were packed and left in the Hotel security we headed of to The Kaledonia Gastro & Sports Bar to watch the Rugby Final... everyone knows that result.. but our experience of that establishment was fantastic and made our day.. it was a very sad moment when we looked at the clock and realised it was time to catch out transport to the Airport back at the Hotel.. We got to the Hotel very exhausted and then went on to catch our flight, what a day to remember. I would FULLY RECOMMEND that if in Budapest you try this Public House out it is great. There are some football tops, scarves and memorabilia dotted around the pub.. the usual thing you find in a Sports Bar.. The sad thing for me is that there is NO Stoke City Items, however that has been rectified now as I have had the address off the barman and I will be sending him some Stoke City Shirts.. I do not know or understand Hungarian but I hope he said to send them as they needed some new dish cloths.(LOL)More

Stopped here after doing the bus tour of Budapest. 10 mins walk from main train station...nothing scottish about it. Just another gimmick. Good selection of draught beers. I had ribs for lunch...Plenty of them and good price. 2 of us had a good hearty platefull...of decent food and 3 pints each and bill was €30euro so can't complain at thatMore

A “Scottish” pub that turns off the Edinburgh derby with 10 minutes to go to watch English football! Nothing Scottish about it. Awful!
