We always freshly bake the best bagels of Budapest for you, in the heart of the city, next to the Basilica, on Zrínyi Street. We use simple, natural ingredients and by no means add anything we can’t pronounce, so our bagels do not contain preservatives, colorants, or flavour enhancers. It is important to mention that all of our handcrafted bagels are vegan, so we do not use any animal-derived ingredients during cooking and baking. In addition to our classic bagels, we are also offering you our own signature bagels and seasonal table offers. Among our sandwiches you will also find many dairy-free and vegan options, and vegan cheese cream variations. We try to work with the best quality, preferably domestic ingredients, thus supporting domestic producers. Very tasty bagels with quick service, the menu has lots of choice on it. The bagels have lots of flavour and the pricing is reasonable (around £6 for a bagel). Filling. There is a lovely view of the Basilica as well.

It can be busy but we seemed to get it a the right time. The name says it all.....Best bagel. It really was delicious. If we hadn't discovered it on our last day we would have went back again. Although I took a quick picture of the bagel, I quickly devoured it. Only thing that put me off was all the influencer spending 15 mins taking photos of the bagel from different angles and not really enjoying it, shame for them.

Super yummy bagel but very slow wait times!! This place is so popular and very good location so be prepared to wait! We went at lunchtime and tables were full (there are only about 6) and lots of people ordering takeaways…. It was worth the wait, lots of filling and tasty

Decided to visit for a spot of lunch on our last day in Budapest & ordered the Duck Liver Pâté and Italian Salami bagel to takeaway as the restaurant was busy. We found a table and decided to sit outside instead…
I had the Italian Salami bagel, it tasted great until I felt something gravelly in my mouth, that tasted exactly what I’d imagine mud would taste like. I immediately spat this out and unsurprisingly the contents of my mouth was black. I asked the staff for a glass of water to wash my mouth out and just lots and lots of black sand was swirling down the drain. I explained that, I had found something in my bagel and they first of all said it was balsamic vinegar, it wasn’t, my partner had balsamic vinegar in his bagel.
They then tried to tell me, I had put the mud in there myself - the bagel was sealed in a bag to takeaway when they handed it to me. I explained that they probably hadn’t washed the salad properly and asked them to check - the owner came down and insisted that the mud wasn’t in their bagel and it came from elsewhere and there wasn’t anything they could do.
After a lot of back and forth they offered me a replacement to which I said I wouldn’t want to eat here again if they wouldn’t even check the salad. To which I pulled apart my bagel on their counter and sure enough there was mud in it and they reluctantly offered me a refund for one bagel…
Find yourselves a better, local, bagel stop!

The First day i went there for lunch and a friendly guy with a big smile gave me the welcome to me. I ordered a bagel and It was EXCELLENT. The day later, i decided to go back (It was so cold and windy)....i ordered Just a cappuccino and a cupcake...i got shocked when the lady from the staff asked me to wait outside!!!!!! For what?!?! There was literally nobody and to wait 3 minutes (the time to prepare the take away cappuccino) ...i got disappointed, however she asked me to stay outside. After 3 minutes, the cappuccino was ready....sometimes the small things make the difference...bad memory

Literal bread with some nutella and banana costs 5 euros and it’s really bad.
Coffee is in paper cups and you have to go order inside even though they are TINY place. It’s really bland, very overpriced and service is non existent. Do not go here!

We got into Budapest just before lunch, booked into and left our bags at the hotel and headed out to find something for lunch. As we were near the St Stephens Basilica, there was a food district with lots to choose from. As we wanted a quick lunch, we saw this bagel place and grabbed a table outside as it was a busy area and they had a few tables spare.
There was a limited selection to choose from. You go inside to order and if there is more than two people trying this its a bit squishy in there.
Order completed, I went outside to sit down and waited. The view up the street to the Basilica was nice. The area was vibrant and busy.
The food took a while to come out and they forgot one drink and we had to chase that up. The bagel itself was OK and tasty. Service was a bit slow though.
Wouldn't rush back for another try of it though.

Delicious bagels and flavored lemonades.
The establishment is very small and only offers a few tables outside, in the immediate vicinity of the Basilica.
On the other hand, the welcome from the waitress is frankly unpleasant... hence one star less... I even hesitated to remove a second one because her attitude spoils the fun!

We went for breakfast, the food and drinks were absolutely lovely and we really enjoyed it. Staff were friendly and the venue is in a prime location as it is very picturesque.
The only reason I couldn’t give this five stars is because they did forget the avocado in two of our bagels, but we didn’t mind because it was so tasty!

We came here for a bite to eat after walking past a prior day and seeing how tasty the bagels looked. Once we arrived, there was a bit of a wait but we didn't mind
I ordered the tuna bagel and my boyfriend had the italian salami bagel. It was a really hot day so we both ordered a large orange juice but were a little disappointed we had to wait for these to come with the food instead
Once our food was ready, we did manage to get a table. The bagels were really tasty and filling and we really enjoyed them!

There are so many other bagel places- don’t waste your time going here. I had the vegan avocado and the cream cheese tasted like foam. Overall flavours do not go together and left a horrible taste in my mouth. Long wait also for a bagel with limited seating, all outside in the cold.

Wanting a quick bite to eat whilst we explored the Christmas markets of Budapest we sought out this bagel cafe.
Their menu is quite small (which is a good thing) and offers a range of typical bagel fillings as well as some interesting new flavours.
The four of us opted for: avo and salad, pesto and mozzarella and tuna cream.
The bagels were extremely delicious, hot and fillings. The bagels themselves were doughy and not over cooked.
We were all impressed with the portion sizes and tastes.
An excellent stop off point whilst in the city centre.

I have nevere had such an amazing bagel in my life.
The duck liver bagel is just out of this world. They use a kind of cheese cream which makes it so tasty and creame. They fresh Orange is really fresh i loved the hall experience, I am defenetly gona come back.
It is really the Best Bagel!!!!

Affordable, filling, AND great munch. The bagels were so tasty and lots of tempting options on the menu.
St. Stephen's Basilica is literally down the street so if you sit in the right place outside you get a lovely view. Perfect for a good little tourist pic.
We sat outside on a nice sunny day, the weather was chilly but they had blankets and heaters which was lovely.
Great vibes, great munch, would recommend.

Amazing, the mango lemonade was refreshing and honestly one of the nicest drinks I’ve had. We stopped on our first day for lunch and wasn’t disappointed, mango lemonade and fresh warm bagels, followed by a banana and Nutella bagel, life is good. The view of the basilica is stunning also. This was our last stop before returning home as I could not leave without another mango lemonade. Thank you.
