For years this place has been putting out the best hamburgers on your tray in Budapest. We tried out other places like Zing, for example, that has more shops, but it was always a complete disappointment after Black Cab. Our favourite is the Cheesy Soho Burger with double Cheddar inside, and always ask for bacon as extra! They also serve their very special french fries - special cut, special taste. Unbeatable!

Nice burgers, quick service, too, though in winter time the place can get crowded and close to the door is not so fun. My son had his first burger here and he decided he now likes burgers. :) Would appreciate some gluten-free options.

In my top 10 burgers ever, and I travel a lot everywhere around the world. Small place, but quick and perfectly sized. Fries are homemade style, extra crispy, and burgers are made fresh from ground beef as they are cooked, toppings are endless.

I’ve been to Black Cab Burger in Mester utca a couple of times and everytime the stuff is rude and gossips about me thinking I don’t understand Hungarian. Each time I speak to them in English just to see if they will continue the same behavior. It’s very disappointing because I know the vast of their clients are tourists and foreigners as well. This time was the last straw was when I went and not only experienced the rudeness and humiliation it also witnessed the poor sanitation. One of the staff who was making the burgers (wearing gloves which looks great at first glance considering the COVID-19 situation) but he kept blowing his nose with the same gloves on and not changing his gloves or washing or disinfecting his hands after!!!🤮😳 I was utterly disgusted as I watched me continue ahead with holding the food mine and other people’s (online orders) included. I had to throw that burger in the Garbage after I left!!!

The meat is good, the bun is store bought, the szervice is slow and not polite at all.
The restaurant smelled and it was dirty. You can not close the toilet, and it was discusting.

We had 2 burgers with my wife and both were soggy and overly saucy. Being juicy is something to appreciate but this felt like a burger soup almost.

We saw an advert for this place in a Budapest leaflet and I’m glad we made the effort finding it.
With not much money left we had to be careful what we spent regarding food and this place was a great choice.
Clean and tidy and trendy to sit, quick service, reasonably priced and fresh!

So as the title suggests, last night here, early morning bus trip to Prague, out all day on the Danube Bend tour. Saw a Persian restaurant which said they were open at 7 pm on a Saturday night, so I walked there on a drizzly evening. They were closed, thank goodness.
Wound up at Black Cab since it was a block or so down the street.
Great staff, fantastic value and even better burger! You will not be disappointed.

This place has the best burgers you can eat in Budapest. You can design your burger (toppings, meat,sides) and they are really cheap.
