I went here for dinner with my boyfriend. At this point we already know the Hungarian type of costumer service which is not very positive at all. So we didn’t expect anything great from this place either and even with no expectations we were still disappointed. Very unbothered blonde waitress took our order and didn’t know the English word for “shrimp” which is quite important when trying to explain shellfish allergy.
The sushi was ok though.

I have been here so many times. I like the food, the service and the atmosphere. BUT...I have Only 1 question: why do they serve italian mineral water in a japanese restaurant??? :-/ it is so strange!!!

First place I visited for dinner during a trip to Budapest and I was not disappointed. Prompt service and good food.

We were here on 13 September. Waiters are fully ignorant. Ordered soup and it was awful - noodles were tasteless, meat was super dry and also tasteless. The only good thing in soup was shiitake mushrooms and that’s all!!! Would not recommend this place at all 🤮

I don't normally submit negative reviews but in this case I feel it's necessary as a service to my fellow-humans. We attempted to have lunch here on Saturday 5 October. The menu looked promising and for all I know the food may make this place one of the culinary gems of Budapest, but we never got to find out. The "waiter" alternated between ignoring us completely and being actively rude and after 15 minutes of this we'd had enough and left without even being able to place an order and went to the McDonald's round the corner, where the staff were prompt, pleasant, and polite. If you are a masochist or want to experience what service was like in the late 1980s, this place is for you. Otherwise, go somewhere else.

Poor food, high prices but taste like fast food. Slow service. Very disappointing. Dont go there. The sushi is ok, the noddeles terrible.

This is one of the worst japanisch restaurants we ever eat.
And the service was not pore it was very bad.
We never come here again.

We have ordered one tappanyaki tofu, tori tempura , 12pcs of sushi and teriyaki noodle. Just those things and no busy. 40mns we asked a waitress and she said because of we ordered the sushi. And the food came out 10mns after.

Spent a business dinner there recently. The food served was quite good, though the level of service was terrible. The waitress was ignorant, not paying attention and eventually didn’t serve us main course claiming that we haven’t ordered any. She just simply didn’t pay attention...

Planet sushi located next to the TGIFridays in Oktogon square does a great job with sushi rolls and Japanese style food the rolls were fresh and each tasted different. Their presentation was beautiful. The staff was nice and helpful.
