We returned for the third consecutive year to Budapest and also to Kisharang. The restaurant is a secret tip in Budapest and probably the best place for traditional Hungarian food. Located in the centre Kisharang seems to be of the radar of most tourists and...instead it is full with locals which is another great sign for its quality. Especially the Spongecake dessert is a one of its kind! All in all great food for a low price.More

Lovely little restaurant with home style cooking. Came with my girlfriend and we both ate the gulassi soup. Soup was really good and service was fast. Unfortunately there was a building construction going on so there was quite a lot of noise. Would definitely come...again.More

In this cosy restaurant the meals seem naturally local and hommemade like. I am not an expert in Hungarian cuisine but the food was really tasty. The pictures of the meals give you the idea what to expect, and the meals are really generous. Can...be quite crowdy. The service is very friendly, and helpful in many ways. The prices are very welcoming - taking into account that this is the centre ot the Capital City and close to tourist attractions.More

Great place to have a fantastic Hungarian goulash and a glass of wine. Cheap and pleasant. Go there when it's sunny, you'll enjoy it even more. :)

I was looking for a compromise between VEGETARIAN and Hungarian traditional dishes, and this tiny restaurant was a great surprise! In the heart of Budapest, just behind the Basilika. Cheap and gentle and quick service.

Adorable and small family restaurant. Delicious and authentic Hungarian food! Loved the intimacy— got to chat with another couple next to us about where to go in Budapest and what to eat! Always fun having great food and making new friends. Had to get dessert!...😉More

We're Hungarian, so we know exactly what the food was supposed to taste like, and we couldn't find anything wrong. Prices are cheap considering the closeness of several tourist sights. The place itself is very warm and welcoming. I love that the menu is specialized...on a small selection of great meals with photos attached, so you know beforehand what you'll get.More

If you are looking for a traditional restaurant to try local food, then this is a very good place. Located in a good area near St. Stephen's Basilica. Good quality and quantity. Had Paprikás Csirke (Chicken Paprikash) there for lunch and it is highly recommended....Unfortunately they don't have free wifi there.More

Avoid this place unless you want to wait outside of the restaurant without any reservation system and then argue with the rude waitresses about who came first. I've been to a lot of other restaurants which don't take reservations but the system worked because the...employees were fair about the waiting queue. As I see apparently a lot of other guests were unhappy with the service and waitresses'attitude. Food is cheap but nothing extraordinary.More

Nice cozy little place, nice atmosphere, pleasant and friendly staff, fast service, low prices. The food is very good but not extraordinary, but value for money it certainly is. Red wine was local ,cheap, and drinkable. No wi fi, maybe that’s a bonus.

Good afternoon! Thank you for your message! We do not make reservations, because the restaurant is small! But I am sure, maximum in 10 min's you'll find a free table! See you soon, Welcome!
